I had a music system and Tannoy floor speakers that had been packed up for quite some time after a move. When finally setting up the system it became apparent that connections were broken off in one of the speakers and it couldn't be used. After some Internet searching, where it seemed the only option was to send the speaker off for inspection, I came across Audio T. From my first phone call to the Southampton shop I was impressed. Wayne came out to my home the next day, quickly realised it was a banana plug issue. Wayne sorted out new plugs, and connected everything up at a very reasonable cost. Excellent service and professionalism.
Called in to the Chandler’s Ford shop today to buy a Rega Planar 3 RS approximately 12 years after I bought my Rega RP1 from the Portsmouth branch. Service was every bit as good as last time - turntable was even set up for me so it was ready to ‘plug and play’ as soon as I got home. Audio T fantastic as ever.
Very pleased with the staff and overwhelmed by their helpfulness at Audio T , Chandlers Ford. I had purchased a set of secondhand Monitor Audio Silver speakers from a lady on Ebay and met her at Audio T to collect. Despite (possibly!) being nothing to do with the store, they were happy to demo them for me before completing the transaction. Just great service for a relatively inexpensive set of floorstanders by comparison to may of the top.tier brands they stock. I still have the speakers five years later and they still sound good to me. Thanks Audio T

I bought my first pieces of Hi-Fi, a Michell Focus 1 turntable with a Creek CS4040 from Audio T, it was then known as 'Hampshire Audio' back in the 1980's. I have always received a friendly, first class customer service from Alan and the team backed up with their extensive product knowledge, considerate care for the customer and objective but reason based recommendations and combinations. I am still liaising with AudioT Southampton on a regular basis for advice on repairs and new purchases and hopefully will do so for many years to come.
I have been a customer of Audio T in Southampton for many years. On each and every occasion they have understood my requirements, my budget, and the direction I wanted to take my hi-fi and AV system in. Their product knowledge is very good, and being brand agnostic means that they have never tried to drive me to a brand or product that didn't suit me from a performance or aesthetic point of view. I do think that the advent of COVID has possibly impacted the experience that some customers might feel they get, but I have never felt this and have become a loyal and continuing customer.
Hands down the worst instance of “customer service” that I have encountered in 50 years of spending money. I went in with the intention of buying some pricey upgrades to my hifi. Two staff members, in particular the toe-curlingly awful elder guy who refused to answer any questions with anything other than dismissive, disinterested and disdainful one word utterances, were seemingly annoyed by my presence, desperately looking for the chance to be patronising about my questions and so witheringly negative that I was desperate to leave. This shop is so awful and so lacking in customer service ability that it would leave a bitter taste to spend money there. (I made that mistake 10 years ago when I spent £1000 on my turntable and they refused to explain how to set it up properly. I thought that dreadful guy would have long since moved on but I was wrong.) Anyway, all was well; I called Richer Sounds in Southampton who were superb. At Richer Sounds they bend over backwards to be welcoming and offer time, advice, reassurance, care and technical insights. At Richer Sounds the staff are genuinely please to see you. After my appalling experience at Audio T, I was delighted to spend £3,700 later that day at Richer Sounds. In short, Audio T - shocking… avoid this place….
