   The store in Southampton was excellent. I had a problem with new dash cam knocking out DAB radio. It was quickly and efficiently solved by the store who fitting an alternative dash cam. The fitter Glenn was very helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. I only gave 4 stars due to the fact that the Call centre was absolutely useless. I spent 1 1/2 hours on the phone trying to get the issue resolved, in the 1st instance. It wasn’t until I revisited the store that the problem was rectified.

   Amazing customer service. Rescued me. My car got a flat battery. I was panicked. I do not understand cars. I was tired I went into Halfords. Marcus on reception deserves recognition as I was so panicked I prob didn’t make too much sense but he was so lovely and he found Dave who was like a knight in shining armour. Sooooo brilliant. Didn’t judge me Was kind and compassionate and went the extra mile. He treated me like an individual and wasn’t patronising. I mentioned the oil and he went and got me some oil and again didn’t give me a lecture. And I’m sure I was chatting too much as I was just so relieved. Thank you

   I am very disappointed with the service at the Halfords store in Southampton on Winchester Road. The staff member I dealt with was unable to find the correct oil filter for my car, even though I provided all the necessary details. I would expect someone working in an automotive store to have at least a basic understanding of car parts and to be able to locate the right item efficiently. Unfortunately, the lack of competence and professionalism was very obvious. It’s disappointing that a big company like Halfords hires people who can’t assist customers with such a simple task. A very negative experience — I do not recommend this store.

   Positive experience: ordered click and collect for bmw remote battery only £1.60 bmw dealership quoted £200 lol Halfords saves the day again and with quick click and collect polite staff on point can’t complain, happy dad :)

   Excellent as always. It's the only place I trust to fit my light bulbs especially as my car is rather old! The whole process is hassle free from start to finish. The Cashier and the Fitter were both absolutely super, professional and very friendly. I would recommend Halfords 100%

   Normally very helpful & knowledgeable but my mother-in-law went to have a bulb replaced & was told they can't do it, she would have to go to a garage, so she asked me. She has an 06 fiesta & it took all of about 5 minutes. Its a fiesta, 1 of the most common cars in the country! I dread to think how much a garage would have charged her. Very poor

   I managed to purchase the things I needed to help me remove rain water sitting on my car's back window. A member of staff Antoine helped me find the articles I needed in Halfords and he then spent some time demonstrating to me how to use the items to keep my rear window clear with the things that stop rain drops remaining on the back window. I would not have been able to achieve what he did without his demonstration. I feel very grateful for his kind help.
