An absolutely amazing place. They had a full Gluten Free menu. We went on a a Sunday and had outstanding roasts! And I was even given a gf Yorkshire pudding and their pigs in blankets were also gluten free!! That is practically unheard of in most places!

Such a welcoming, friendly pub with excellent food and service. Each time I have visited, every member of the team has gone out of their way to make sure we have enjoyed our visit. When coupled with a varied menu of really great food, and a wide ranging bar, it honestly is a place that we return to time again. Daryl, Shane and Katie have worked really hard to create a really lovely place that feels like the heart of the community. Their passion shows in every detail, and it’s clear they genuinely care about giving their guests the best possible experience. Without doubt, one of the best pubs in the area and well worth a visit!

really nice pub. Came here for lunch, it was very nice. The place is very traditional inside with a quite big beer garden outside that sits 50+. Service was very good, friendly welcome and clear instructions how to order food etc. If we are ever back in the area we would definitely visit again. Food quality was great, better than "pub grub" and there were enough vegetarian options to keep 2 vegetarians happy!

Staff were really friendly to the people and dogs in our group. The man who welcomed us was telling us about his dogs and every one of the wait staff also made a fuss of ours. Probably the most genuinely dog friendly pub I’ve ever been to. The food was also incredible, we had different roasts and fish & chips and all of it was delicious. We hope to be back again!

Excellent pub just outside of Winnersh. Friendly staff. Had the steak and 6X pie with mash and veg. That evening there was live acoustic music to enjoy too.

Not somewhere I would go back to. Nice pint of Wadsworth's 6X though. The food was below standard, very poor presentation, overcooked chips and half a mushroom. Steak plonked on top of chips!! Very poor. Substandard I would say, Inc the chef.

3 is low but 4 is to high. If you consider my pie and chips with fabulous pints of ale alone... Then a 4* was nailed on. My partner ordered a nice Sirloin medium rare... It was well done when it arrived. It was the last steak left and the menu only has limited choices... so that was that. It spoiled the score but that was £22 for a steak so it really should have been delivered to requirement. Service throughout was good and attentive. Ambience nice. If you want tasty pub classics this is a lovely place. Nice decor lovely bar. Totally recommended.

If you want to have a Sunday lunch at this place it is best to book as soon as you can. I did not book, but the staff did state that we could order some things on the menu. The members of staff were extremely welcoming, nice and friendly. They did all that they could to ensure that people felt at ease. Everyone who stepped int othe pub was greeted nicely. If one is there for a small snack, the cheese on garlic bread was lovely. The service was quick and I cannot think of any way to improve. ***We attended again in February 2022. The place was extremely crowded and it was evident that all of the members of staff were working exceptionally hard to ensure that everyone got served in a timely manner. The tortellini was nice and the sauce was lovely. It would have been better if it had been served with some form of melted cheese, but that is just my preference. The members of staff were friendly and attentive.***
