Always a pleasure to visit this bar, today my partner and I had a bottomless brunch, the food was excellent and the service was outstanding, would highly recommend this venue.
Really cool pub, shows all the sports, perfect for an afternoon. Food menu was great, beer selection was good and having a pool table made it even better.
Popped into this place by chance on a rainy day, given a warm welcome by Jason. Had a few drinks, several games of pool with nice local crowd & a fantastic pizza. Stayed longer then planned & enjoyed atmosphere of Karaoke
Amazing - took my daughter for a bottomless brunch on Bank holiday Monday for her 18th Birthday. The pub was quiet when we started but to be expected at mid day. The service was brilliant, drinks was free flowing excellent larger choices. My wife and daughter worked there way through the cocktail menu and really enjoyed. For food we had the chicken wings and veggie burger which accompanied the meal very well. I would highly recommend the crown's bottomless brunch offering.
Called in yesterday Feb 25th to watch the Rugby. Absolutely lovely staff great atmosphere, I'm Welsh and everyone was so friendly. Josh was just amazing, and the lad with him. xxx
Great pub, impeccably and passionately run, friendly welcoming staff that get involved with their customers. Does everything a pub should do very well and has a vibe that’s ‘Just Right’.
We stumbled upon the Crown after booking a couple of nights away in a nearby hotel and what can I say a lovely friendly pub and very welcoming. The staff were all amazing and could not be more helpful giving us a route for a river walk and even restaurant recomendations for a meal one evening. we popped back for more drinks after!! great range of drinks and a good venue for watching football even though we lost!! we shall return in the summer so we can enjoy the beer garden more and look forward to seeing the renovations. Great work Ethan and the whole team.
I have had a few lovely evenings here! The atmosphere is always great, the drinks are a good price with an amazing selection, and the staff are lovely! Hannah, the deputy manager, always has a smile ready for us and makes sure we are well looked after.
Great pub for drinks and game(pool and darts). The food is average, nothing to write home about. Had a pizza and the taste and the dough is far away from authentic taste.
Ordered my food and mentioned once that I have dietary restrictions. Ordered and sat down with my drink. A few moments later the bartender came to my table to verify what if ordered and made sure everything was correct. I'm impressed by that level of service. When the food came out it looked good and tasted even better. The interior is comfortable. While I was there it wasn't very busy. Overall it was a great experience and I'll be going back. Note: online it's says they have darts which they don't.
