On entering you are welcomeed by friendly staff and a warming fire. The food s excellent and has something for everyone. The Prix Fixe menu is very good value for early evenings. They have a stunning garden for the summer time. They are also dog friendly which is great of you want to stop by for a drink after a dog walk.

We have been to the Mutton on many occasions in the last 18 months and it is our favourite place to go for food in the local area. The staff are so lovely, and the food is top notch. If we could give the food 10 stars, we would! They have been doing monthly "Taste Of" nights, which have been fantastic value for money and showcases the food in a different light. Highly recommend the Sunday Roast too. Great all round!

Very friendly service, many gluten free options available, food was excellent. I really enjoyed our visit and we will be coming back. Ambience is very cozy, everything is very clean.

Wonderful staff and customer service, really care about the customers. The food was incredible, especially the doughnut and pork chop, outstanding taste. The kids meals were very well priced and have generous portions. Great car park and beautiful newly refurbished outdoor garden. Lots of locals, always a good sign. It was really nice coming from London to experience a genuinely good pub compared to some of the mediocre ones I’ve encountered. Definitely a pub worth visiting.

I went to the mutton today for my brothers birthday lunch..me, my dad and my brother had the roast dinners. Food came, meat potatoes and yorkshires on one plate and one bowl of vegs for all 3 of us, no utensils for veg. The roast potatoes were horrible, tasted old, very disappointing. The pub itself is lovely, the food could have more love spent on it.. be freshly cooked, especially for the prices.

Great food to complement a night out with wife, daughter and her fiancé. Main courses of steak and venison were fab. Homely, warm atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Not that cheap but very good food - so definitely worth the cost.

First step through the door you're greeted by friendly staff and a blazing fire. The atmosphere is very welcoming and homely. The interior design is honestly next level from the lighting to set the mood, all the way down to the small details and decorations to make you feel right at home. All the effort into the design puts you into a relaxed mindset making it easy to block out the internal noise, drink some wine and eat some amazing food. Talking about food, it's to die for! We came as a group of 7 so naturally we ordered one of everything and shared. I'm not a fan of cheese but every single cheese dish had me second guessing myself. First glance at the menu I was thinking this is just your standard grub with fancy names but I couldn't be more wrong. My favourite dishes was the squid crackers, venison main dish (wow!) and the salted caramel tart with coffee ice cream. I will be coming back.
