Fantastic food, great service, and a really warm atmosphere. We were a group of 15 booked in for a Christmas meal on a busy Friday night, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The food was piping hot, well presented, and delicious. The staff were friendly, efficient, and did a brilliant job of getting everyone into the Christmas spirit.

Fantastic Sunday roast, best ive had in a long time. Portions were very generous and all tasted very good. Had the crumble for pudding which was also one of the best ive had. Would recommend and will be returning

Nice place, service also nice but I was dissapointed with my bean- burger. Was burned inside and served in a cold bun, onion and gerkin were dried as if were in a fridge for a while. I retuned it and ordered tofu dish. Service did not make any problems but I got my food when my friends finished eating so had been sitting hungry then eat in a hurry. Place is nice with nice interior and outside area is charming near river. Shame parking is so close so you have feeling you are sitting at the parking. Toilets are well kept have very nice and funny decoration.

Lovely rural pub, sympathetically renovated with a beautiful steam running alongside the garden, didn't try the roast.. but looked proper. Good Guinness and reasonably priced for such a nice location, would visit again if in the area.

6 of us had a lovely lunch here last week. Staff really friendly. Food very good & we all had different. Only negative to me was that it was cold in the pub. There was an open fire but was not sufficient for such a big pub & we did have 2 over 90's with us. I did state this when I booked & was told we'd be put in a warm corner.

So glad we traveled further away from the chain pubs near the M25. This little gem was amazing! Great food and real ales (casque mark and Camra). Fantastic garden by a small river. Kids play area is small but kept kids busy while we waited.
