An absolutely brilliant, proper, little pub. The portions are great value for money with adult meals between £10-14. Good range of drinks on offer too. We weren't locals but we were welcomed. We would visit again!
We popped in on a bit of a whim and had a lovely meal—lasagna for one of us, and chicken strips with chips for me. The atmosphere was great, and the food felt like proper home-cooked comfort food.
Had dinner here with a friend. Good atmosphere. The food was very good (great 3 cheese ploughman’s) and the staff were friendly and attentive. Great traditional pub with traditional pub fare.
Badgers wood is a characterful village pub, with a snug lounge area and a larger bar area and features a real badger as part of the decor. The badgers has recently reopened and was serving 4 cask ales on our visit. The landlord and bar staff were friendly and service was excellent, worth visiting if you are in the area.

Had the kasundi chicken with pilau rice which was amazing. Fantastic food. Good choice of beers. Great staff. Excellent value. Would highly recommend.
Food was lovely here, the Lamb Biryani and Butter chicken were my personal favourites. But all the food was bussin. Good pub atmosphere also, with a nice beer garden!
Went for an evening meal here with my partner after the England Germany game. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The Indian food was phenomenal and made from scratch, I had the Lamb Chops and Keema Naan and my partner had the Korma and an Olive Naan. All were recommendations from the staff and they were spot on! Can't stress how lovely the staff members were, the family who own the pub as well as the new member who had only been there a week. Will definitely come again!
