This could be great but the staff are often so rude and unfriendly. Can be extremely long wait times (seems common now in Nero). They close very early frequently without warning or notice and then shout through the window go away. Many wasted trips to visit when you would hope it was open. They appear to have major staff issues. The cafe is unhygienic and dirty, and dated/old stained seats. Given dogs are permitted (which is lovely), you would expect there to be basic level of cleaning. The single toilet is sometimes unusable. This place needs a serious deep clean and better management, staff who aren't going to snap at customers for no reason. Such a shame this isn't recommended anymore.

Staff very incapable and unfriendly. Ordered four items and forgot one and were too busy cleaning then helping customers. Dined in with take away service as it said on the door they are understaffed.

BEST. CAFE. NERO. ON. EARTH. Great coffees, great staff, great food, great company. What's not to like? Excellent.

Had a coffee on a Friday afternoon and one member of staff behind the main counter answered back to customers and was incredibly rude. Very unprofessional.

Caffè Nero in Romsey is in a lovely location, and has some great tables overlooking the high-street. The coffee is always nice and the staff are friendly. I do however feel the food options have become increasingly expensive and have definitely shrunk in size too, so I now just go for coffee instead of getting a cake too. Overall, it’s a nice spot for a quick coffee.

This place is right opposite Josies and The White Horse Hotel and moments along the road from several others. The only reason to go here is if the other places are shut or full. The food here is way too expensive for stuff that makes no attempt to mask the fact that it is mass-produced rubbish. Do yourself a favour and walk over the road.

Nice friendly service and very dog friendly! Good food choice and cakes and choices of two coffee bean choices, smooth or house which apparently is more punchy. Plenty of seating.

03/02/2023. I asked the girl for a milkshake behind the counter but asked for take out as I may have to leave. She said that’s fine- she asked her colleague to make it and started pouring into a glass I asked politely again to have in take out she diddnt acknowledge that I had asked and muttered under her breath could of said before I made it. Brunette haired girl was lovely, however blonde girl clearly had no customer service / hospitality experience very rude !

Tara provided amazing service. The whole team were friendly and efficient on a busy afternoon. Atmosphere was great, coffee and tea were perfect and the cake was cakey. Tara went out of her way to check allergens, we will be coming back. Thank you.

We were enjoying our coffee and cakes until a member of staff decided to dust the light fittings and ceiling over our heads with a long handled feather duster. We had to cover our drinks and cake to prevent dust and cobwebs. Surely this can be done out of hours.
