    Went there thinking of getting a new TV, spoke to a very helpful young member of staff, and we were advised that there was a specific TV on a special deal, and that it was the only one and currently sitting in the warehouse. We continued browsing while this sales person finished his shift. We eventually decided to buy this special deal TV, and approached another sales person, who wasn't aware of this TV and went to ask the manager. The manager told him that they didn't have this TV, without conducting a physical check in the warehouse. Instead this manager claimed the young sales person we first spoke to made things up! We asked the second sales person if they could try to find this TV in the warehouse, and we were told no they can't check in the warehouse. This was 2 hours before the shop was due to close, and the manager and several sales people were standing doing nothing. We left the store and 2 days later managed to get in touch with the nice sales person we initially spoke to, and he told us that TV was sold the next day. Lazy manager who couldn't be bothered to locate and sell a TV. Utterly incompetent.

    I purchased two items from the Curry’s store after advising the sales person of my requirements for the items. After arriving home and opening the items, I discovered that neither items met the requirements and took the items back to the store. I was met with a unfriendly manager who was already defensive as I approached him to explain that I had been mis-sold the items and required a refund. Since the items were opened (not used), no refund would be permitted as ‘per the terms of their returns policy’, stated on the back of the receipt (however, the return policy was not explained when purchasing). After leaving the store I contacted customer services via their email service on the website - this service is no longer available. I contacted customer services by phone - to be met with a very convenient reply from a Curry’s customer service representative - my receipt could not be found on their system so my complaint could not be escalated to an ‘online managers call back’. This was then followed by the most outrageous response and advice a customer could ever receive - that I must return to the store for a third time - find the salesperson who advised me on the items (wait for them to be on-shift) - to take the salesperson to the store manager to prove that I had been mis-sold/ ill advised on the items. How is this good customer service Curry’s? How is a confrontation with a young salesperson reporting this information to their manager going to be a positive experience and outcome? How is your return policy even legal? Absolutely zero customer service/ satisfaction/ support from Curry’s. Please get in touch Curry’s.

    Absolutely shocking experience at Curry’s in Garthdee Rd, Aberdeen AB10 7AY today around midday. The so-called Sales Manager, Martin, who was standing at the entrance, was hands-down the most aggressive and rude staff member I have ever come across in any shop. His attitude was disgusting and completely unacceptable — barking at customers instead of helping them. My husband, who is normally a very mild-mannered person, was forced to meet aggression with aggression just to try to get this Sales Manager to listen. But Martin was too busy being hostile to hear a word. In the end, we walked out of the store without the merchandise we had already purchased, because my husband was so upset by the treatment. I’ve been a loyal customer here for years, but after this experience, never again. Curry’s should be ashamed to have someone like that representing their brand. If you don’t want to be treated like dirt the moment you walk through the door, avoid this store at all costs.

    Title: Deliberately Misled and Terrible Service - Avoid This Store! I am writing this review to warn others about the shockingly poor and misleading service I received at the Currys store in Garthdee on 31/08/2025 I first went to the Currys in Berryden to buy an Apple Pencil. The sales assistant there checked his system and assured me that the item was in stock at the Garthdee store. He explicitly told me to pay for it there and then, and that by the time I drove to Garthdee (about 30 minutes), it would be ready for me to pick up. I trusted this advice and made the purchase. I received the "ready for pickup" email just 16 minutes later. But when I arrived at the Garthdee store, the manager (a bald man with glasses) came to tell me they did not have the pencil in stock and claimed "not enough time had passed" for it to be ready—a complete lie, as I had the confirmation email in my inbox. I explained I needed it urgently for my son's school, but he was completely unsympathetic and unhelpful. When I asked for a simple refund, he refused and told me to drive all the way back to the Berryden store to get my money back. This is an unacceptable way to treat a customer. They deliberately misled me, wasted my time and fuel, and then refused to take responsibility. The manager's attitude was dismissive and arrogant. They clearly have no respect for their customers. Do not shop here. They will tell you anything to make a sale and then leave you to deal with the consequences.

    5 star help and advice from Ricky in the upstairs section. He helped and gave us alot of advice on which type of gas cooker to buy. Will come back here again and purchase via Ricky, once we have made our mind up on which cooker to eventually buy.

    Went in to buy a new oled tv today and told I'd have to pay £20 for delivery due to the shop not having my tv in Aberdeen. Sorry CURRYS it ain't happening ... Just lost out on a sale.
