I wanted to share some feedback about my experience with Pauline at customer service. Unfortunately, she was extremely unhelpful and made what should have been a quick, simple return far more difficult than necessary. She repeatedly re-read our previous correspondence, seemingly looking for reasons to decline the return, and then insisted that she couldn’t process it without a physical receipt even though I had provided a perfectly clear photo of it. When I asked to speak with a manager, she suddenly processed the refund straight from my phone without issue. The whole interaction came across as unnecessarily unpleasant and unprofessional. I’d suggest some additional customer service training or support, as her attitude really doesn’t reflect well on the company.

Pauline at customer service (supposedly happy to help) may be the most miserable person I have ever met. She was oozing with hate for every customer that spoke to her and when it came to our very simple return, she read through our customer service conversation over and over again desperately trying to find a reason to say no. She then proceeded to say that she needs the physical reciept and cant do it without it, even though I had a clear picture of the reciept. As soon as I asked for a manager it was suddenly perfectly fine amd she scanned the reciept on my phone and complete the refund. This person is not capable of customer service and either needs extensive training in the basics of human contact or just find someone that doesn't despise all people.

This Asda has a lot of ongoing issues that make shopping here frustrating. The top floor is always closed at 10pm, yet there’s no official signage outside to warn customers. Instead, they just tape off the escalators, which feels cheap and unprofessional. If the store is advertised as open, customers should reasonably expect the whole store to be open—not just half of it. The customer service desk also closes early without any notice, so visiting this branch is always a gamble. You never know if what you need will actually be accessible. The upstairs section is usually messy; while staff sometimes try to tidy and match SELs, it quickly falls back into disarray. By contrast, the Sainsbury’s across the road is consistently clean and well-organised. The café is another disappointment. It’s been running on so-called “temporary opening hours” for ages, which clearly aren’t temporary anymore. Half the menu is unavailable, soft drinks are out of order, and refills have been scrapped despite higher prices. The pizza deal is the only decent option, but even then you’re often told “sorry, no pizza,” or “sorry, fryer’s broken.” It’s always an excuse. The official Asda page still claims this store is 24 hours, but that’s simply not true. Staff are often stationed at the doors telling customers it’s closed, even while the shop is still operating inside. They used to display signage with the reduced hours, but that’s been removed, and any attempts to update the hours on Google are overridden back to “24 hours.” It feels deliberately misleading. The car park is another nightmare. The speed bumps are so high they damage cars, yet they haven’t stopped the racer teens who still gather there. The fuel station is now card-only, clearly cutting staff costs, and the car wash is almost always out of order. Nothing here seems to work properly. Meanwhile, Sainsbury’s across the road offers a staffed, reliable fuel station, a convenience store, and far better customer treatment. They also appear to treat their staff with more respect. Overall, this Asda is poorly managed, misleading about its hours, and consistently disappointing.

Stay well clear of the travel money shop in Asda. I went there to get Euros today and although i thought the exchange rate was low i just bought them. There is a sign saying if you find a better rate within 5 miles they will equal it. When i got home i found out that the shop in the Trinity centre was £12 cheaper, i went back to Asda as i stay quite close and asked the woman about it and her answer was you should have brought it up when buying. I asked to speak to her boss and her answer was i am the boss very abruptly. We have been going to Asda for many years now to do our shopping but i will never use the travel money department again.

Great supermarket for all of your shopping needs! Large variety of products from food to fragrance, cooking to cleaning. You name it, Asda will have it! Really friendly and approachable staff who will go out of their way to help you in any way possible. The shop is laid out very well which makes it easier to find what you are looking for. They have a large variety of clothes for every age and style. They also offer toys and electronics at great prices. I have never had a bad experience with the staff, their customer service skills are very good. Can't fault this supermarket for value and variety.

This is the best retail store I have visited so far. It is very large and contains a wide array of items. In terms of the environment, the store is clean, well-maintained, and pleasing to look at. Almost everything can be found here - from fresh groceries to clothes, home accessories, drinks, ice cream, gadgets, baked goods, toiletries, ready-made meals, etc... the list is endless, really. The store also contains other businesses within, such as an optician, make-up studio, photo-printing shop, and a McDonalds. Prices are reasonable and there are many checkout points - for self-checkout, or otherwise. It really makes for a good shopping experience.

Great store. They have almost anything you can think of and even on busy days there is a negligible wait time at the checkouts. The staff are friendly and helpful if you require assistance. There is also a reward scheme that gives you money back on certain items which you can use against future purchases. I definitely recommend using this store either in the premises or online.

Went to return Asda Branded Cheese on Wednesday 31st AM and was greeted by a rather unfriendly and unhelpful customer Service lady. She went on and on about my receipt even after I told her I had purchased it probably 10 days prior. It was Asda’s unopened Cheese, I only wanted a refund not an apology even though it would have been nice, instead I got a dressing down. Service without a Smile. It doesn’t cost much Mr Asda Thanks Asda for the Reply, you ask what was wrong with the Cheese, hence why included two photos showing the Mould...I assume that is enough information.
