The best coffee I’ve tried so far, quality and flavor wise. I also had a raspberry croissant and it was delicious! It was a little tricky to find a clean table because it was packed. It would be nice to have more locations because it’s very good!
1st time here in a few years outside tables were dirty and sticky the coffee I ordered was not particularly pleasant very burnt and bitter taste. The tray we were given was covered in a white film of what I can only describe as limescale. Lots of other tables inside and outside covered in dirty debris considering they were quiet when we visited The only positive the two girls behind the counter were friendly overall very disappointed definitely won’t be returning
The best cafe venue in the Coffee#1 chain in my view. The coffee is always perfect, good and strong. Good selection of cakes etc too. The seating arrangement is perfect also.
Their seasonal iced cherry matcha is PERFECT for a hot summer day, and they have a cosy interior with plenty of space to relax. Great sandwiches and pastries, too.
Nice coffee and I’ve visited this and another branch on former visits to Southampton. HOWEVER, after the most disappointing service on what was a very quiet day, today; I then proceeded to sit outside in sun. Three of the four tables were full of previous customers glasses, cups and full ashtrays (it was only 13:30). The lady waitress then cleared these and could not be bothered to wipe any of the tables clean - I sat at dirty table for 30 minutes. The seating area outside was covered in coffee shop napkins and paper from sugars etc on ground and as my pictures reflect, the wider street was clean. I thought this coffee shop was one of the better ones until now, it’s turning into a filthy dump with staff who have no pride or standards it seems. I empathise if the owners are not aware or maybe popularity has made them complacent. I’ll be reluctant to come back …
Nice friendly coffee shop. Great coffee, really nice cakes (especially the brownies) and never seems too busy. Well woth a visit
Coffee#1 seems to be a great company with lush cakes and great coffee anywhere you find one. However this particular branch has a really good team that make you feel very welcome and seem to work very well together. It's always a pleasure to get my morning coffee here.
Coffee and cake were great, I left and stars lost as staff changed the air filter above my table as I ate. Far from hygienic.
Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Usual coffees, like latte, mocha..., are fine, however house filter and Costa Rican are more or less rat poison. I may not be a true coffee lover but I tried and that is way too acid and bitter, I keep trying and even after 2 sugar and 2 sweeteners it was undrinkable for me.
