Lovely staff. Has a fantastic range of everyday items as well as baked goods. Staff open a second or sometimes a third till to keep keep lines down.

Not too busy. Got everything we wanted. Great there is no piped muzak playing so makes for a relaxing and stress-free experience that encourages more browsing for things not on our shopping list.

Friendly and helpful staff. Extra tills always opened whenever customers have to queue for more than a few minutes. Customer toilet available. Great range of fresh fruit and vegetables, tasty selection of in-store bakery items, good range of meat and fish, keenly priced.

Use Lidl often. They have competitive prices produce and their own brands aren’t that much different to named brands if truth be told and at a fraction of the price which helps greatly in these difficult times. Of course you can get bargains elsewhere but I find lidl a great place to top up my weekly shop and save money. Checkout is always crowded as no self checkouts or scanning available but small price to pay for the low total charged on your goods if you are not influenced by named brands. Overall recommend.

Lidl was great! The middle aisle is agodsed if you are on a budget. Very neat, well displayed & great staff on.

Don't feel cheated out of money. They are very fair in their pricing, and staff try their best under very testing circumstances.

YES ! A Lidl DOES go a long way and does you good. Excellent value all round , wines , spirits , beers , bakery , meats etc and hard working staff. Definitely my favourite shop since my first ever visit

Some great foods and other goods and many unbeatable prices, but I find I need to be very selective to get real value and quality. Breads and cold/cooked meats are great. Biggest disappointment is their fruit and vegetables can be very mixed quality and too often turn bad very quickly. August 2020 During a recent visit I saw cold meat - thinly sliced ham - at a good price and, after checking weight and description to make sure I had the right item/price, I carried on shopping. After checking out, I checked my receipt. I wasn't disappointed to find I had been charged more than twice the displayed price for the ham. I returned to the cold meat section and seached for a product at the price I was charged and for a cheaper ham at the price displayed - neither could be found. I returned to the checkout and queried the price. The sole assistant left the checkout and long queue and went to the cold meat section. After also failing to find a product for the price I was charged or a cheaper ham at the price displayed she summoned the manager. He also failed and insisted someone had made an error and immediately agreed to refund the amount overcharged. All very fair (despite quite a few disgruntled customers still queuing). However... About two weeks later I was shopping for cold meat again. Guess what? The same expensive hams were still displayed with the wrong much lower price! You have to ask how many other products employ the same 'error' tactics to charge customers more than twice the displayed price and, how many customers check their receipts? I now always check. Also, I feel compelled to add their fruit and veg is as bad as ever. I don't care what they say, it's cheap because a lot of it is old/short shelf life and poor quality. I find Asda is significantly better and often cheaper.
