   I’ve been going to Wamz for a few years now for regular servicing and various part replacements on my car. I really appreciate his professionalism compared to other mechanics I’ve used in Reading. He’s always transparent and gives honest advice about which parts may need attention in the near future. Reliability, trustworthiness, and fair pricing are all very important to me, and Wamz consistently delivers on all three. I always notice a clear improvement in how my car drives after he’s worked on it. He’s also a genuinely great guy, so I would definitely recommend his services to others.

   Had a vehicle breakdown and reached out to Wambura..initially had a good response and took my vehicle to his garage through a recovery service..small garage so no customer parking space and was left far away until ready to be looked at...a lot of follow up calls and it was looked at eventually after a couple of days!! But it became clear pretty soon that there is a serious lack of of competency...I already had a diagnostic report from RAC who attended my breakdown originally and advised that the crankshaft sensor/crank pulley might be broken. While he changed the crankshaft sensor, the issue was not resolved and he advised that it is a gearbox fault while he himself did a test drive and showed the auto gears shifted just fine.. he recommended a gear box specialist and offered to share his number but I didn't bother with that since I knew that it was not a gear box fault..he gave me an invoice for around £100 (labour @80/hr!! and £25 crankshaft sensor) which I paid. I had to recover the vehicle again (didn't want to risk a stall in the middle of the road)..All it did was cost me over £150 including back and forth recovery and the issue was not even close to resolution...and worse he had no idea what even the issue was inspire of my clear explanation of RAC diagnostics.. Anyways long story short, I took it to another local "competent" garage and got it fixed including a timing belt chain replacement as the issue was actually with the crank pulley (reluctor ring)...the initial gear box jerk was due to gearbox control unit not receiving speed signal (RPM) from crank sensor/reluctor ring.. A number of reviews show that they got their car fixed quickly in this garage - those might have been a straightforward thing like brake pad replacement or fixing a few nuts and bolts here and there but if you want someone with a competent diagnostic knowledge and an appetite to troubleshoot and fix issues, this is not the place..in fact they might even make matters worse with wrong diagnosis and advise.. Sorry but overall it was a complete waste of money and waste of time for me and I would never recommend this place to anyone..a garage is like a hospital and without proper diagnostic skills it is pretty useless... PS: I don't know if I will be able to respond back after garage's response but least I don't expect any defensive response as I have just written as it happened...I want this to be useful to people who might or will be in my situation..

   Rang him on a Saturday and he managed to fit the car in on Monday. I was even able to drop it off on the Sunday. Replaced the clutch and explained the damage. Excellent service and will be returning next time the car has an issue

   I recently visited Mobile Mechanic Reading for my Hyundai i20, and I’m really happy with the service. They carried out a full disc brake and pad replacement, suspension work, and also did an oil and oil filter change. A special thanks to Wambura, who did all the work. He was very supportive, explained everything in detail, and made sure I understood what was being done. The pricing was reasonable, and the quality of the work was excellent. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for a reliable and professional mechanic in Reading!

   Absolutely amazing service from Wambura. What a lovely person! Quick, reliable, excellent communication, very professional and polite. My clutch needed replacing, the car got collected the following day after I first called. It was Tuesday, got the car back Friday evening and it runs like new. Will definitely be using their services again.

   Very happy with the service. Very professional and quick to come out when I called them, did a diagnostic check and found that I had an issue with my injector and coil pack which had to be replaced. The repair took a little longer than planned as he found other issues but all in all great service will definitely be using them again.

   Fantastic and honest service. Had a warning light telling me to check my fuel injectors. When I rang MMR they came out to me quickly and were rapid with getting me a quote to replace the turbo. When the car had a few more issues revealed I was immediately told and the additional work carried out. I would highly recommend MMR and will definitely be using them in the future!
