Our first visit under the new management and it was absolutely brilliant. Karl really looked after us from start to finish. We had a Christmas family gathering and all of us enjoyed the food. Congrats to the chef for excellent dishes - it's not often you experience dishes better than you expected. The mini camembert starter, braised beef, and black forest trifle were highlights. It's a cosy country pub that deserves to be thriving again.

Delicious Sunday roast enjoyed with my wife, two kids and mother-in-law. There were three meat options to choose from, plus a sharing platter that looked incredible definitely trying that on my next visit. The meat and vegetables were cooked to perfection, and the portion sizes were spot on. My mother-in-law is a light eater, and the team catered perfectly with a smaller roast at a reduced price, which was a lovely touch. Service was excellent and quick, the kids’ menu had plenty of variety, and the puddings were also delicious. Highly recommend!

We had lunch at The Dog and Crook today. We had been there before but wanted to try again as under new management. The place has had a facelift, and looks great. Lovely and clean, and a warm welcome. The food was delicious. Chicken Liver Parfait was a real hit. We chatted to the new manager, and fell in love with his beautiful dog Bella. We can recommend The Dog and Crook without hesitation. Eat here, you won’t be disappointed!

If you want to experience an authentic pub, eat home cooked food and be served with wonderful service then this is the place. Tucked away in Colden Common, the Brambridge Arms welcomes you with a warm and cozy feeling unlike most other pubs nowadays. The bar is long and has an extensive range of draft beer, ale and cider. I had a Brie and bacon with cranberry sauce baguette with a side of chips (Usually comes with tortilla chips but I didn't want them today). For my drink I had a pint of Orchard Thieves. The food was fresh, made from quality ingredients and you can tell it was made to order. Chips were salty and chunky with a generous portion. Can't complain about the pint, was solid! Whilst on the pricey side, costing me a total of just under £20. I felt that it was justified with the quality food and atmosphere.

We are a vegan family of three with a toddler moved to the area not long ago. We visited the Brambridge Arms a few times already and today we've tried their vegan Sunday roast. Everything was absolutely delicious and staff was very friendly and attentive. We found our new regular spot.

We had a great time together as a family, all 18 of us, in the “ snug”. The children had space to get into mischief and adults had a chance to feel comfortable. The meal was tasty, everyone loved their food chosen from a wide menu. Somehow the staff always stayed friendly and efficient despite the challenges of coping with us all. Thoroughly recommended in every way! Thank you for having us

At short notice we rang the Brambridge Arms in the afternoon to see if we could purchase a meal and to find out whether they allowed dogs in the pub. The answer was 'yes' to both requests and we made our way to Colden Common from Southampton. On arrival we found an extremely attractive public house which was well lit and had ample parking spaces. on entering the pub we were greeted by Scott and Jo and throughout our visit both of them and their staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful. There were four guests in our party and each of us ordered a different dish. All the meals were well prepared and were good sized portions. All of us cleared our plates and enjoyed the cuisine. The pub was very clean and tidy and we felt at ease during our stay. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Brambridge Arms and its staff.
