A pub with a very unique and quirky atmosphere, run by equally characterful people. The interior genuinely feels like a mix of an antique shop and a small museum, which makes it a really enjoyable place to sit and have a drink. It is also extremely dog friendly. There are water bowls everywhere and, honestly, I think I saw more dogs than people, which I loved. There is a good selection of beers and the prices are very reasonable. Just to note, they do not serve food. Drinks only, with bar snacks like crisps and nuts. Overall, this was the place I enjoyed the most in Winchester and would happily go back.

It may be “eccentric” and “quirky” but what it is, is a really nice place to go get a drink and relax. I might have been to a thousand pubs (so far) in my life and this is one of the best ones. It offers something different to the usual bland corporate generic guff that floods UK high streets. We should encourage and cherish places like this. I also had a very nice pizza from the guy in the beer garden.

This place defines "quirky". Can't really describe it - so check out photos and set for yourself. And then go visit. Great selection of drinks. Amazing decor

Nice pub with a good selection of ales and cidar. Quirky decorating gives it an unique atmosphere. Fair warning, there are quite a few stuffed animals around.

Super friendly staff, they have BBQ nights, the atmosphere is on the next level, they really nailed it. I recommend going in ordering something and just exploring the building, it's really weird and there are always new things you can find. Every room is different, I don't even know how to describe it It's just weird but in the best way possible :D

Genuinely friendly hosts, didn't mind showing us round even though the pub wasn't open. We hope to have the chance to come back, interesting pub eclectic collection of oddities. The beer look on enticing us.

Eclectic decorations and lively vibe make this a must visit for anyone new to Winchester. Nice outside space. Disappointing gin and tonic hence four stars.

Great pub, unique. The boss has filled the place with all sorts of artefacts which make it a treasure trove of interest. Beer is great, much larger than it appears from the outside. Staff fabulous, a must place to visit.
