First time in Winchester was having a lovely time loving the city until me and my friends stoped in Alfie’s. We paid (an extortionate amount) for our beers. We went outside and laid our full pints on a table then went to the smoking area for approximately 1:30 minutes when we came back our drinks had gone and the barmaid explained she’d thrown them and didn’t offer to reimburse us. If you love overpriced beer and rude staff go to Alfie’s Winchester!

Booked a drinks table for the rugby - what great staff, so efficient and pleasant. Great time had by all. Would have eaten, food looked good but we were attending a Birthday meal later

Great atmosphere, the bar staff called Emily and Mal were very friendly and helped me pick the perfect White Wine. Will definitely be returning !

Ben and Jess were absolute stars, the food was perfect. And their hospitality skills were above and beyond. Defo coming back! Might I add gorgeous staff*

Stopped in for a few drinks with my partner and children on a day out in Winchester. We ordered Peroni and Daura Damm gluten-free beers for me, Camden Hells for my partner and J20s and Fanta bottles for the kids. My partner and I shared a large portion of spicy chips, which as well as being vegan and gluten free, they were delicious and good value. The kids shared some chips and they loved those too and enjoyed a game of pool, on a pool table that takes card payments. We ordered some drinks directly at the bar and ordered some drinks and food via the app which gave you table service. The service and staff were great and friendly. The food and drinks were great and good value. We sat in the garden courtyard area. We also used the toilets which were clean and well-stocked with toilet paper. A lovely place.

Nice beer / cider selection, they've got 3 beavertowns on tap, definitely a good pub for a pint or two, conveniently located right next to the bus station. Popular place for watching the football. Not tried the pizzas yet but heard they're very good.

First visit. Waitress was very helpful explaining things on the menu. Food was excellent. Will definitely go back.

Comfy interior. Pleasant sheltered yard seating at the back. Good reasonably priced pub food. Polite service. Gents toilets whiffy though.

Ordered some chips to go with our drinks when we asked for some condiments we were told bluntly "nah we don't have any" my partner did get annoyed because since when do places that sell food they don't have atleast salt ?? When we tried to order more drinks they refused to serve us , won't go back their again no wonder they have a bad name about them... staff all looked miserable

If you want an Xmas lights experience with no atmosphere, a gents toilet with a soaking wet floor, no toilet paper and no lock on door, then you have hit the spot. Well seems the last guy missed the spot
