   Just been to Horns Inn for a few hours as staying overnight near by. Food was excellent as was the atmosphere and lovely staff. Will definitely be calling again when next over in Southampton cruising. Will be recommending to my friends as well. Well done everyone involved.

   Absolute shambles, had christmas dinner here with my dad and brothers safe to say we won't be returning next year. Firstly, customer service was not great. No one asked if our food was ok. No hospitality and was very clearly understaffed. Under cooked food Not worth £60.

   Very overpriced food & drinks. Below par quality of food. Weirdest tasting mashed potato i have ever tried. If they are going to charge that much then the quality of what they're selling needs to improve. On a positive they do a good Guinness.

   A booking was made for me and my husband for an evening meal on 23rd September 2022, due to the Beefeater being closed. On arrival we were told there was no booking and I know there was for 8.00 o'clock !!! But a table was available, (funny that, as only three other tables had people eating at them) so we both ordered ham, egg and chips, we waited for nearly an hour and what came up was peas as hard as bullets, cold chips and fried eggs that were so cold it was almost like they had been taken straight out of a fridge. When we told the waitress, she apologised, took our meals away and five minutes later brought both plates back and explained that the kitchen was now closed and that she had "put the eggs under the grill to heat them up a bit!!!!" We both ate most of the ham, some cold chips and left the rest. We had been travelling for approx 5 to 6 hours and come the evening were hungry and looking forward to a decent meal. How very disappointed we were that we didn't get that here and how very certain we are that we would NEVER eat at this establishment again. We would rather go to a petrol station and buy a couple bags of crisps.

   We enjoyed our first Saturday evening there last week, great atmosphere, lovely friendly staff and lots of laughs with the locals. We returned the following day for a Sunday Roast...Chicken and Beef it was just the ticket, perfectly cooked & presented and the gravy is best we've ever had...Amazing !! Lovely friendly, attentive, hard working staff nothing was too much trouble. We will be returning and recommending this place.
