   Absolutely awful - landlady very rude looked like she was more interested sat at end of bar on phone along with staff. Spoken too as if we should of known rules but with no phone number to contact pub and checking website about children - it says children WELCOME to be told I had to leave but in a rude manor and was made to feel stupid in front of a packed pub as she wasn’t quiet about it ! Will never return and will ensure I tell others. Can not comment on anything else as wasn’t allowed to stay !

   Really lovely pub. Just been here for a few drinks, everyone was super friendly, there was a really lovely atmosphere. And lots of big tvs for sports. Would really recommend!

   Only a stop off on route to Southampton from the west Midlands. Sunday lunchtime and most tables reserved. Had a quick refreshment and toilet stop in impeccable facilities. All staff very friendly including a kitchen porter / chef disposing of old cooking oil.

   Really liked this pub. They have a good selection of beers and ciders at reasonable prices. There are a lot of comfortable seating available. A pool table, they do motown nights as well. The outside seating is partially covered. Most importantly the service was very friendly and welcoming.
