   Don't be tricked by some of these reviews, majority seem rather vaguley genuine, my impression when popped down earlier took walk to the area, young bar staff, had no interaction, or skills to be behind bar, no knowedlge of types of drinks or prices, plus had to repeat myself to the senior older bar staff, which rudley responded with intention unwillingly to help, then as i have worked in bars in past they were not willing to top up the Ale that i Purchased, then rudley started laughing with other ill mannered customer at the bar standing, it hasn't settled yet, clearly me and my friend were too DARK for the place, as it seems to be rather a prejudist type of a place, some faces NOT welcome, personally will never recommend or bother ging back again, sham on these members of staff Nothing else to say , but they have lots of work to do, sorry

   Friendly local bar with a good selection of beers and very well kept ales all served with amazing smiles and friendly service. Very popular with locals. Food is now pretty good also with a decent selection

   Came to this bar a month ago as i'm moving into the area soon and allready thought when i first walked in, what a nice sports bar, great staff and loads of screens so you can't miss anything whilst your being served, staff are lovely & very welcoming. Drinks are reasonably priced and the food menu has a good variety and also reasonably priced. Definitely come again.

   The Guinness is good and there is plenty of outdoor seating available ,the prices are fairly reasonable too which is very important in the current climate.

   R and R Sports bar in Chellaston. If they don’t like you then you are not getting served!! My son and I was at the R and R pub with n Chellaston on a day leading up to Christmas. There was Christmas lights, Santa and other novelty characters on display. My son pressed the Santa as it had a button to press on it to sing Xmas songs A member of bar staff went to Santa and turned him off; telling my 4 year old that Santa was tired. I take it the sound of Santa singing was annoying her however the football match playing on the big screen that was on full volume was not causing a problem for her or the customers. I was also accused of being sick on a table and was told by a member of staff“ next time your sick at least have the decency to tell me as I had to clean it up”. I denied this was refused to be served a drink and was told to leave. I spoke to the manager the next day and she confirmed it was not me having checked CCTV and stated me and my family are welcome anytime at the pub. I went into the pub on 20th of January and was served 2 drinks, I went up to the bar for a 3rd and was told by a pub server he was “refusing” to serve me until I sort things out with The “pub Server”. I asked for an apology from her but she refused and stated she would never serve me or my family again. The bar employee showed me the pub policy and stated he would serve me when the member of staff was not at work . I told the pub worker I had spoken to the Pub Manager and informed him I was welcome anytime; The employee then stated “I don’t care” i am the “licensee” and he did not have to give any reason to refuse me a drink. The attitude from staff at this pub is absolutely disgraceful, however the manager is fantastic I just wish her staff would follow her professionalism towards customers. Today I witnessed an employee from the R & R pub and sports bar in chellaston, gloating about the fact they have barred another customer from the pub to all the customers and friends in a “nearby pub” in Chellaston.. Absolutely disgusting behaviour again…

   What a fantastic Sports bar plenty of televisions. Staff helpful and polite the venue is clean bright and a good selection of drink. If I lived more local I would definitely be in here a few times.
