Lovely lunchtime meal. Dog friendly which is important to us as we always have the dog with us. The lady bar manager was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Will visit again!
Popped in for a bit of lunch with friends. Two of us had baguettes and chips. One had chicken and chips and the other had fish n chips off the 2 for £18 menu. All food was piping hot and served on hot plates. The fish n chips was quite small but still we all thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks. The owner was serving drinks and cooking the food on his own which was some feat ! He looked after us a treat!
Just lovely! Called in on a Friday lunchtime, ordered a couple of drinks . Then noticed 2 meals for £18.....good choices including gluten free. Excellent! Barman is warm and friendly. What's not to love? We will be back!

Proper Pub with a friendly welcome and good atmosphere. Very helpful Staff and Very good Food. Value for money and Top Quality. All round an excellent place to visit
We ate here on the spur of the moment as we were out of options and to be honest it wasn't bad, just could have been better. The chap behind the bar was pleasant and personable, the beer was good but the food was a bit disappointing. Location wise it's good and the décor is pleasing and clean.
Super friendly pub, lovely atmosphere and really nicely done out inside. View over the brook which was very nice. Host was chatty & smiley, very warm welcome. Probably the best jacket potato & chilli I've ever had! Look forward to coming back in the future. Highly recommend!
Absolutely amazing Sunday lunch! Delicious and a great price too. Generous portion sizes and loads of fresh veg included, Staff really helpful. Highly recommended. We stayed at Meadow View in Mayfield so the Bridge is only down the road. We had a nice walk along the river Dove to help it go down when we got home. Lovely way to spend a Sunday.
