I stumbled upon this on a random trip to Aberdeen and thought I'd treat myself to some good quality coffee. They have really interesting single origin ones, blends and I particularly love their chai. Reasonable prices as well. Firm favourite and go to for coffee orders now ❤️
Last week, I was just strolling around Aberdeen when I happened to pass by MacBeans Coffee Roasters — and I’m so glad I did! The variety of coffee and tea they offer is incredible, with something for every taste. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable, happily answering all my questions and helping me choose the perfect beans. I ended up buying the Rwanda-KCRS, brought it back to Abu Dhabi, and I’m currently enjoying it with friends — we all absolutely love it. Highly recommend MacBeans to anyone visiting Aberdeen or looking for top-quality coffee!
I've been buying coffee from Macbeans for over 6 months now. I love the blends. Espresso Gold and Granite City are my favourite. It's a lovely wee shop and I have always had a good experience when in buying tea and coffee. We are very lucky that Aberdeen has this shop, with so many big chain shops closing their doors for good. Im happy to support this lovely small business.
I've bought beans from here only on 2 occasions now. The first time i was happy. Beans were fresh with a roast date, they made a beautiful double shot full of crema. However the 2nd batch i bought had no roast date. The beans are clearly stale as there is next to no aroma from the bag, even with a fairly expensive grinder and espresso machine the pull time was sub 13 seconds even on the lowest grind. Coffee is my passion and for this reason i wont be visiting macbeans again
Used to get coffee here when I was at university in Aberdeen it was always a fantastic quality coffee roaster. I order it online now as I live outside the city and it's still makes delicious coffee, always dispatched very quickly. A pleasure to recommend this great local business.

I parked my car close to this shop and waited for my friend who had something to do in the Nationwide bank on union street . I simply saw the tea display in the window and entered the shop out of curiosity and was really impressed with the range of teas and coffee beans and accessories they have . And the pricing too is so reasonable. I am a herbal and floral tea lover and was ordering herbs and flowers etc. online and preparing teas at home. But that s over now,. I made a nice impulse purchase from them today, the staff was good, they understand the business , packaging and service too was up to the mark. Wish them the best and shall be a regular visitor to this small cute shop.. I wish i could buy the T shirts that the staff was wearing for my son who too is a tea lover.
Excellent knowledgeable staff and service on their products. You’ll find lovely mugs, coffee pressers, tea pots and most importantly the coffee smells so good. They also carry moonpig teas here.
