    My wife and I bought a Jaguar Epace and we really have been given exceptional service. After an AA inspection all issues highlighted were fixed almost immediately. All the staff have been so courteous and helpful. Really highly recommended. We will definitely buy from them again.

    Bought a car from here on the 14th of October. Paid on delivery when his mechanic delivered to my office after telling me it had gone through MOT and had been serviced. On the day my wife went she took loads of photos and videos of the engine as it was dirty and oily. She was assured it would be fully serviced and MOT’d she was also told it would get new tyres. When we got the car home it was chugging a little so I was concerned so I lifted the bonnet to discover it had never had any service and all filters where clogged up, the oil filter was marked on the wife’s video from his yard and had the same mark on it so never been touched, Three tyres were added but one was at the limit. We have been waiting to get it in for a service from our own mechanic which was done today and the findings where terrible 3 front engine pipes needed replaced which I showed him on my video week 1, all filters needed changed, needs 1 tyre, should never have past MOT as it had an exhaust leak at the engine from one of the broken pipes so we had to pay Β£403 for a full service that was supposed to be done he apologised that it wasn’t touched. Β£560 to replace the pipes that where cable tied in, new break disc still to be done and cam belt to be done so almost Β£1600 of work to get it road worthy. To top this all off we still haven’t received the V5 log book I’ve asked multiple times to be told it was sent so I contacted DVLA to be told they’ve received nothing. Now I need to be out more money to get the V5. I don’t normally leave reviews but this is a must as I won’t be taken for a mug. Next steps are complaints to motor ombudsman and the trading standards they will be done tomorrow. If I could post photos I would but I will be giving this all to trading standards and the motor ombudsman. Good luck if you buy a car here but I won’t let this one go. After seeing the garages response I really do feel sorry for anyone dealing with these guys, he couldn't tell the truth if he tried. LetLetss see how he deals with it when my solicitor contact him he forgets my wife recorded the whole visit as he told her she could check the car that he surveyed it all. My complaint is now in with all relevant parties and a letter being done for the courts for a CCJ for work I had to do that you lied about. I have all the receipts of the services and the last one was 2024. I have all the correspondence via WhatsApp and email, I have all the videos and photos. I have a full mechanical report from a reputable garage.

    In April 2025 I agreed to buy a Land Rover Discovery from Carman Recovery & Transport which appeared to be a legitimate & reputable dealer as advertised on Autotrader. The car was not ready at the time of viewing, but I was assured it would be properly repaired and supplied with a fresh MOT. The vehicle was delivered to my location, at which point I discovered the vehicle had no MOT, despite repeated assurances it would. Shortly after, it suffered serious safety issues, including brakes and suspension, requiring roadside repairs to make it safe. Regarding the MOT, the seller’s explanation (β€œthe DVSA site takes a few days to update”) was false, later confirmed by DVSA itself. Subsequent claims that repairs had been carried out prior to delivery were also either false, or the work was completed inadequately without proper checks. Over the following weeks, I had the vehicle repaired & received invoices as such, which I sent to the company. Despite initially confirming in writing he would reimburse me on receipt of invoices, he ignored repeated communications, made false promises of payment & attempted to make significantly reduced offers far below the documented costs, that never materialised into payment, following repeated delay & countless excuses. When no reimbursement came, I was forced to file a County Court claim. The court awarded judgment in my favour plus costs. Only after judgment was entered (a CCJ against the company) did Carman Recovery and Transport pay me in full. This dragged on for months, causing enormous frustration and stress. The only way I eventually got paid was by taking them to court and obtaining a judgment. My advice to potential customers, exercise extreme caution. My experience was of repeated broken promises and refusal to accept responsibility, until compelled by the courts.

    Bought a great Mini Cooper s convertible from Richard, it had a fresh 12 months MOT and a 3 month warranty at a great price. I had to claim on the warranty and due to my location, got a local garage to do the repairs. Richard agreed to reimburse monies to save me traveling back to him. Thanks Richard, I am loving the car!
