Brand new Sainsbury’s on The Hyde that replaced the old Sainsbury’s on nearly the same site is futuristic and excellent. Great Timpsons cobbler managed by Francis who is really helpful. Excellent wine area. There is a good clothing area and Argos too.

I come here often for my weekly shop after recently moving to uni accomodation. While the product choices may be limited in some areas, (the most notable of which is the lack of kopperburg cans) the staff absolutely make up for it. I can always rely on the security guard at the entrance for a greeting or just a smile, which is much more than any other security guards do (looking at you Tesco Express). Staff are often on the shop floor offering assistance and at the tills too. I often stop for a couple minutes to chat with some of the lovely ladies who work at the tills, I didn't quite get her name but I would like to praise the woman who I believe has a neice or a daughter who did horticulture at Sparsholt Uni Center. Overall a great shop with lovely staff and a decent range of products. Would highly reccomend it over other shops on the high street!

I find it so annoying at self checkout that you have to wait for the one member of staff covering the area to come over and give you a carrier bag....and they have to scan it in as well. What a joke, if the bag theft was so bad that it hurt your bottom line so much just open the old tills back up! Standing around waiting for someone to come over is not an efficient use of anyone's time.....and thanks for effectively saying you don't trust your customers. Poor job Sainsbury's!

Convenient but they keep moving their stock around so you can't find anything. Also if you want a ready meal it's chicken chicken chicken or chicken.

This is right in the centre of Winchester. Though it doesn't have parking of its own for shoppers, there are parkings nearby where you can go and park for a fee. You can get all your groceries here and most things. It's comfortable to shop here actually

On average wether it's Sainsbury's or any supermarket there all in competition the latest craze is we all compare to Aldi prices wether in store or on T V adds it's compared to Aldi to get you to shop ate there supermarket so if you like a particullar supermarket it makes not much difference so it's up to every individual or family which supermarket you decide to shop at but one thing I'll say as long as the ingredients hasn't changed check out Sainsbury's cream crackers they are one of the best I've tasted spread with butter or any spread I like olive spread with cheese or marmite and taste the difference compared to all the other supermarkets there own make there lovely John Gillingham

Good inner city supermarket. Not huge but great for buying day to day food. A huge frozen and chilled section. They also had frozen peas when nowhere else did today!

Always good, always has the basics - a good inner city supermarket with a fair selection of goods

It's small but you can pick up the essentials. Good little store.

Self-service is hopeless. If you buy any item from the bakery you get flagged up for a check. This increased the time to shop from a few minutes to 20 minutes as you have to wait for the untrained staff to ask each other what to do and even then they get it wrong. Badger Farm is fine but this store is awful.
