   On the evening of Wednesday 26th November (the day before Thanksgiving) I had a lovely young student (I think her name was Penny) help me, retrieve all my Vegan shopping for my brother - who was visiting from the USA. She patiently sourced all the items on my list (and there were quite a few) for the Vegan dishes that I was attempting to prepare! She was very friendly and engaged with me - which was lovely to see. I thanked the lovely student and wished her well. Well done WAITROSE WINCHESTER for employing such nice, respectable teenagers. The staff on a whole - are always very polite and attentive. Thank You

   I need to use a mobility scooter. The access is excellent. The aisles are comfortably wide to shop. The staff are warm and welcoming and will assist me when necessary. If I cannot reach a product I wish to purchase or any assistance with my purchases or when at the till never have I felt a burden to them in fact it’s an absolute pleasure when I go there thank you Waitrose

   Staff were wonderful, parking was great but the locals are probably the most entitled and non specially aware I have met. 1 way system in car park doesn't mean anything to locals either.

   For me, the best thing is the underground car park which means except for a short sprint at the front entrance you can keep dry in the rain. Typical Waitrose experience but not the largest so not all items are stocked hence the 4 stars.

   This waitrose has an underground carpark which has a very narrow entrance; so be careful when parking. Unfortunately due to the surrounding area there are not many places to park so this is your only option. Overground parking is available for disabled people only. There is a lift and stairs going from the carpark to the store, so if you have a shopping trolly you are able to take it to the car park. The outside of the shop was well maintained and looked nice. Inside, I used the handheld scanner and went around the shop (self checkout and tills were available). Many shelves were empty or near empty (see photos), and the cost of many foods have increased since I last shopped here. However, the quality has stayed the same. Staff seemed friendly also. Next door is an Aldi, so it can be great to mix shopping by visiting both stores to cut costs / buy reduced food.

   I am a huge fan of the John Lewis Partnership, especially Waitrose, but today was our third visit in three weeks when we found the store to have widespread poor availability (Friday after lunch). Even basic goods. Clearly the logistics team is cutting deliveries too fine for the Winchester store and the delivery truck isn't getting to the store in good enough time. The management urgently need to address this, as we're being forced to shop elsewhere by non-availability.

   Mid sized store. Underground parking that has a tight turn at the bottom of the ramp, but you will fit around it. Friendly staff, usually well stocked. Great sushi counter. Cash point inside.

   Was very impressed with the level of professionalism of the staff at this store. Was struggling to reach some items on a top shelf in the store, and a very kind member of staff, Dan, stepped in to help me get the products I needed. Furthermore, he opted to help point me in the direction of some very niche, brand-specific products I required - was pleasantly surprised when he knew where everything was.
