   Just bought some lemons yesterday that are rubbish, but Lidl did not put their own label on them. Today I visited Asda Chandlers Ford and the quality difference is shocking. High quality at Asda as you can see.

   Uncaring, I lost my bag in the store Tuesday, and I asked for help with two staff, less than helpful. Try phoning store no number. Contacted customer service, they said no was available. Not had any reply since. I wouldn't shop in their again if can't be bothered to help. Now be contact again no reply or help just a joke

   Usually good in the morning but by the end of the day the place is ransacked, certainly not cheap anymore, large supermarkets are cheaper on most items these days, and why spend thousands of pounds putting in all the additional self serve tills but rarely use them, seem happy in this store for customers to queue half way down the frozen aisle instead of improving service and opening the left side of self serve

   Had give down hill in the last couple of years, always empty boxes over the floor, not sick on the shelves and no staff, veg never lasts more than a few days and prices have Rocketted more than ever!! They are missing the potential to make slot of money but just like the rest of the supermarkets they don't seem to care!!!

   Brilliant value as always with Lidl. Staff are all very friendly as well. Always appears to be clean. Occasionally can be slightly understaffed so requires waiting in the queue for a counter a bit longer if you have a large quantity of shopping. The bakery items are truly excellent! Other drawbacks are that sometimes does not have quite niche items and cereal quality is poor.

   For a trolley of food to get us, a family of four to get us over New Year period, with careful selection and taking advantage of goods, such as Christmas puddings, reduced after Christmas day, my full trolley value came to approximately £50. I'm sure anywhere else it would be at least £100. In the current climate we have to be selective. Selectivity is the some total of profitability! Thank you Lidle!

   I step inside and experience enlightenment. What a place! Everything you could ever wish for (bar lemons and noodles) and for a small price. One time I bought 15 beers for £8. One time I bought a baby for a fiver. Deals galore. Shop here or burn in hell for eternity. Peace out

   New stores are nearly always nice. But, there's serious but... Building store this size on very busy road and a junction is madness. When there's no traffic, what happens very rare on Shirley High street, it's fine. Sometimes store is overwhelmed with cars and people. Store itself is larger, brighter than old one. However, don't be fooled, products are scattered around the store, there's no logical sequence for nice shopping experience. Isles are odd number, so if you follow the isle by isle you end up in corner of the shop. Car park time is shortened to 90 minutes, but you spending more time wondering through the store.
