   We came on Boxing Day for afternoon tea as we live nearby. Unfortunately we were told it’s ’residents only’ and they were only willing to accommodate us in the spa’s cafe. Fortunately The Pig down the road has much more accommodating policies in the spirit of Christmas (!) - so we went there instead

   As always, a very good experience. The service was perfect, we were well looked after. The atmosphere is just right, the Christmas decor is lovely. My only criticism is the cocktails price point is a tad on the high side.

   Was lucky enough to have the opportunity to stay at this beautiful hotel. The team at Limewood are attentive, friendly and really make you feel at home! A very luxurious countryside stay with top facilities and high quality, seasonal food and drink..Loved the cosy fires throughout the hotel and it was a nice touch that you could hire a DVD for the room..a blast from the past! Thank you again for the hospitality and a memorable stay!

   Above and beyond of what we expected. The room was magnificent - from all the amenities and the finest detail to the view from our bathtub and heated floors. Food and drinks - fabulous. We especially liked that you can reserve different areas for private use, which allowed us to enjoy board games by the fire after our dinner, and billiards the day after. Spa is glorious - from the mud experience in a private hammam to the most relaxing face massage we’ve ever had. The grounds are beautifully up-kept and provide a tranquil surrounding, which is exactly what we needed when escaping busy London.

   We were made to feel very welcome by attentive staff at every corner. Every part of the hotel is stylish and well designed to create a relaxed, comfortable experience and a desire to return. A countryside retreat indeed. Cocktails at the evening bar are impressive, which only enhance the view of the stars from the courtyard. Breakfast is a luxurious spread, fresh and filling for the day ahead. Do go for a walk, there are a few well thought out suggestions and so many beautiful spots to see, on the grounds and surrounding forest.

   Afternoon Tea and drinks. Warm welcome, valet parking. Lovely High Tea and the service impeccable. Worth the price as a nice treat or gift. Marked easy but lovely walks over the large grounds.Highly recommend.

   Had a mid-week lunch here celebrating my husband's birthday and everything about our visit was amazing from start to finish. The meet and greet at Reception was friendly and professional. The staff in the restaurant were helpful and kind. Their service was impeccable and friendly. Our seats were great. The food was mind-blowingly fabulous. We had our after lunch tea and coffee in the comfortable lounge area . We honestly cannot recommend Lime Wood highly enough. It's wonderful...give yourself a treat, you definitely won't regret it.

   My family and I really enjoyed our afternoon tea at this beautiful hotel. The service was excellent (they remembered that I am lactose intolerant/dairy free) and the food was delicious! I also love the decor in this building. I look forward to coming here again.

   Such a treat! Came back for a long weekend, after last visiting in 2016. The spa, restaurants and bar were really lovely and of high quality. All the staff were very friendly and professional. We loved our accommodation in Coach house 1. We could happily have moved in! Also dog friendly, just not in the public areas of the main house and spa. We cant wait to return.

   We've found our new hotel for future trips! Beautiful grounds, amazing people, great food/drink with a relaxing atmosphere. The dinner menu rotated daily with what was harvested that day, which gave great options from night to night. The spa was simply amazing! The staff went above and beyond on multiple occasions during our stay, and really made us feel special and welcomed.
