Polite staff, acknowledging you as a valid customer. Down to earth staff. Owner was exceptionally professional and lovely. Stock in store was very good in choice. Brilliant store pick up for items ordered on line. Thank you Masseys for my nice experience in your store.

A few years ago I purchased a new Honda lawnmower from Massey's and was delighted with the service we were given. When I had need of a quality hedge cutter l returned again even though the item I purchased could have been purchased more locally or even online but because of my previous experience from the company. I was completely satisfied with the service l received and would recommend them to any person who asked my opinion.

Purchased a lawnmower from here in 2005 and after 20 years it finally needed replacing, so my 2nd visit to the store!. This place has changed a lot in that time, still has a massive selection of garden products, but has now also branched into general DIY. However, the difference between this place and your well known DIY stores is that these guys actually know the products they are selling. They were also the lowest price I saw online for the Mountfield mower I was after. For £15 they unbox it, build it and prime it with fuel and oil. They even helped get it in the boot of the car. Great service all around.

Went to buy another replacement petrol lawnmower. Sam suggested I try a battery one - wasn’t sure, worried about cutting power. Decided to give a twin battery Mountfield a go. Absolutely love it, works just as well, loads of power and more battery life than required. Thanks Sam and Massy’s.

What an excellent shop, selling all kinds of building, gardening and DIY equipment and at very reasonable prices too. Service was friendly and knowledgeable, something sadly lacking in many places these days. I'll definitely be back to my new favourite shop

Masseys is a great shop, but my husband bought some work boots from there he is a lorry driver, so not like a construction worker and working on a building site every day. He has had no end of trouble with them leaking, not glued very well, and the mid sole not good because you can feel every stone in then. Since September 2022 he is on his 4th pair now and I took them back last week and the young lad that served me wasn't the politest of person and I had to tell him 3 times why I had to bring them back and he wasn't going to let me change them even though they were changed just over 2 months ago. I know it's not Masseys fault it's the suppliers fault for poor quality control. The lad said he was going to pass it onto the suppliers when the rep visits. I never normally have any problems with any of the staff they are normally very polite and chatty but not this person. I will still use Masseys
