Lovely hotel, close to the train station and town. Great base for a day trip to London. All the staff we came across were friendly and helpful. Rooms are a good size, added bonus it had a fridge.

I recently stayed at the Novotel Reading Centre and had a wonderful experience. The reception team were amazing, especially Toni, the manager, and Yassine at the front desk. Overall, they were absolutely awesomeโfriendly, welcoming, and always professional. The F&B team were also greatโattentive and polite throughout my stay. A special mention goes to the lovely lady working in the breakfast area on the mornings of the 24th and 25th of November. She was incredibly helpful, especially as I had my baby with me who was walking around everywhere. Her patience and kindness truly stood out. The location is fantastic as well. Everything you need is within walking distanceโshops, restaurants, and transport linksโmaking the stay extremely convenient. Overall, a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at Novotel Reading Centre and had a truly wonderful experience. The location is perfect โ right in the heart of Reading and only a short walk from the train station, shops, and restaurants. It made getting around the city so easy and convenient. The staff specially Mr Lama is amazing โ friendly, professional, and always ready to help. My room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I appreciated how quiet it was despite being in the city centre. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of fresh and tasty options. The hotel facilities, including the pool and fitness area, were also a nice bonus and very well maintained.

No complaints. Room isnt anything fancy, but gets the job done. Shower and toilet were clean. Good location, bus stop around the corner, train station 2-3 minute walk away. Staff is nice and welcoming. Had a lovely chat with Marissa at the check-in. Enjoyed my stay.

Stayed 2 nights. Welcomed by friendly staff who were very helpful. Room was of good side and was very clean. Nice addition was a mini fridge which was great to put milk and drinks. Only down for me which is no great deal is that the tea, coffee and sugars were not very well stocked but were available behind reception. Leisure facilities were more than adequate. They are not the biggest but were clean and weren't that busy. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

Pretty decent hotel with courteous staff, well equipped gym and pool a gourmet bar. The brownie point of the hotel is the location, 1 minute walk to the railway station and there are plethora of options for food and beverages nearby. The breakfast is decent, however I reckon there could have been some variety from day to day. I sent them an email earlier for a room with good view and they allotted room on the topmost floor, very nice of them. Along with the perks and benefits of staying on the executive floor there was a small woe though due to their less spacious elevator and waiting time to catch a proper elevator was ok a bit higher side.

Amazing stay in Novotel, as always! Great experience , comfortable and clean rooms! Tasty breakfast and very important, friendly staff ( many thanks to Marisa and Marta for making our stay more joyful). So nice of them because there is also a gluten free section. No parking but overall was a nice stay.

We had a great stay. Reception staff are very helpful and so was the gentleman on duty at breakfast. Unfortunately, when l went to dish up 4 of the hot breakfast options had run out. The cost to park at the hotel is high, but there are other options. The window in the room. Was full of fingerprints and could have done with a wipe. The carpet could also have done with a clean. Very comfortable bed and there is everything you need right down to an iron, mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities. Both a bath and separate shower and soap and shampoo. Nicely decorated and a modern feel.

We used the hotel for its location as we were their for Christmas Shopping, the hotel was in a excellent location. The hotel had a swimming pool that was a positive. Children could use the facility at anytime, no restrictions but the staff were regular participants in the swimming pool and I found this uncomfortable. There was one decent swimming lane which was being used systematically by the staff. One would finish and another would replace them. They would also monopolise the sauna and steam rooms. We had booked to have breakfast on the 3 nights we stayed but we're not impressed with the food, it was of a poor standard only used the first morning. After that went out of the hotel to have a breakfast. Staff on reception were friendly in particular a gentleman I think of Spanish origin who worked nights he was excellent and couldn't be more helpful, efficient and friendly. We generally found staff to be polite. Kept up the first night by a couple above who were very noisy but that was nothing to do with the hotel. Cost of staying at the hotel I thought was a very good price taking in to consideration the location.
