   Rip off merchants! Was charged £1.50 for a bog standard green pepper today. I'm fairly confident they had them priced up at £0.79 per pepper but I was so taken aback I did the stupid British thing and just paid and left seething. If its costing them more to buy in the produce I'd happily pay more providing it was clear what I was paying but the guy serving today was just an utter liar. Not going to shop there again and will be reporting them to trading standards!

   Some of these reviews are either very old (I knew the shop used to have excellent produce) but, sadly, this was not the case today. The very first items I saw was a box of Cauliflowers, all of which was covered in mold and, obviously wilting. I discreetly spoke to the young man on the till and suggested he removed the offending items but it became apparent, upon going inside, ALL the produce was the same and the smell was horrendous. If it was a cafe or restaurant it would be closed down.
