   After a bad experience with a leading national carpet retailer, we noticed a sign for Oakley Carpets as we drove past and are very glad we did. We needed a carpet for a small room and the national retailer told us we would have to buy a piece of carpet 4m wide even though we only needed 2.5m. Oakley carpets showed us a range of carpets that are available in 2.5m so we would have no waste. The national retailer added a delivery charge and an administration fee to the cost of their carpet and forgot to mention the total didn't include fitting. Oakley carpets gave us one price that included fitting and was 44% cheaper than the quote for a comparable carpet from the national retailer! Even though we were only buying a small carpet, we received excellent customer service and the fitter did a great job. Thank you Oakley Carpets!

   The service I received from Nigel was first class. From getting samples, the measuring and finally the carpet being laid to my tight deadlines was immeasurable. Steve the fitter did a fantastic job and the carpet looks fabulous. Steve advising that I could even get an off cut made into door mat was cherry on the cake. Well done Nigel and Steve for making an emotional time a lot easier. Thank you.

   Where do I start? Oakley Carpets are a fantastic company to deal with, from start to finish. Nigel came out and took me through all the options available to me, as I wanted a good quality wooden floor. He was extremely patient, and extremely knowledgeable. After lengthy discussions, I agreed on “Quick Step” flooring. They managed to fit it very quickly, and in fact I had to cancel the first appointment as my electrician had not finished installing the UFH. I had to call Nigel and inform him of this a couple of days prior to them coming, and he totally understood the situation and gave me some later dates. Steve the fitter is an absolute “craftsman”, and he installed the flooring quickly & efficiently. He was extremely pleasant to have in the house, was extremely helpful, and very tidy! The way he caulked all around my breakfast bar, and sliding doors was absolutely first class. It is wonderful to find such a great local company, and I can assure them that I will be using them again. In conclusion, the professionalism, knowledge and “can do” attitude of this company is exemplary. I am so pleased that I decided not to use one of the large “flooring chains”, and used a local company with a wonderful reputation. Their reputation is thoroughly deserved. 10 out of 10!!!!!!

   5 star doesnt feel high enough, but thats all i can give. From minute one it was a good experience. The phone was answered quickly, professionally, politely, the original quote was quick and accepted very quickly, Performed quickly and VERY professionally by Steve. We then needed some more works done and these were quoted just as fast and carried out quickly. The date of the 2nd work had to be postponed as one of our house had to self isolate and the work was VERY quickly re-arranged. nothing seems too much trouble for Oakley Carpets. A VERY impressive service and will definitely recommend them to ANYONE who asks.
