We are delighted with our new kitchen recently installed by Designs for Living. It was a complete refurbishment with a new design, electrical works, plastering, flooring and installation of new cupboards, worktops and appliances. Everyone involved was helpful and pleasant and we were highly impressed by the service and the results.
From start to finish, the process was so very smooth. Jon designed a kitchen we absolutely fell in love with, and I don't recall we changed a single thing, because he listened to what we were after! Now it is installed, I'm more in love with it. They have made it so spacious with the design, and the attention to detail from Dave who fitted it is just incredible. Genuinely can't speak highly enough about Designs For Living, they would get my vote every single time.
Designs for Living installed a new kitchen for us 25 years ago, we were very pleased with them then, so went back to them again. They did not disappoint us and were exceptional is their performance. From the very first design meeting to the final laying of the floor they were professional and efficient. The office team were a delight to deal with and the various site trades were all considerate and friendly and they produced a kitchen for us that exceeded our expectations, we are over the moon with it. We would have no hesitation in recommending Designs for Living to anyone.
I had my bathroom installed in February 2024 and I am delighted with the outcome! Choosing a design is not an easy task, however Sarah was very helpful throughout and gave advice as and when needed resulting in her producing a stunning design. The showroom displays were also useful regarding choice and Paul gave further valuable input when conducting the survey. The timelines for delivery and fitting were adhered to and the fitter, Mark, was hard working and obliging. Julie kept me up-to-date throughout the process and was a pleasure to deal with. There were some minor faults with two of the cabinets which were sorted out, albeit not immediately. In summary, I would happily recommend Designs For Living and all the staff I dealt with - overall a great team!
We had been planning a renovation and complete overhaul of our old kitchen for a while (and saving up!) and when we chose to go with Designs for Living, we couldn't have been happier. The entire process from the very initial design and CAD drawings, so many options to choose from to get our custom kitchen, to the fitting and installation of the units, tiles and electrics, was all seen through very reliably and on time as per a full schedule. Every individual involved has been kind, helpful and friendly and has made what would usually be a very disruptive activity, into something completely manageable. I am still even now a little taken back by how easy this went for us! Whenever we had questions on any aspect of the kitchen design or the implementation, Designs for Living would always make time to answer them, nothing was ever a stupid question and even the little things were important. I love that they were so helpful in guiding us on this journey. Kitchen is beautifully designed, we were provided full CAD drawings and mock ups and it really helped visualise everything about moving forward with our decision. Jon was fantastic whenever we had changes with the design! The kitchen we've had fitted is everything we wanted. The renovation itself was really well scheduled, everything turned up on time and everyone we worked with was very professional, kind, courteous and helpful with questions we had. They also helped to give us advice for certain aspects we had never used before (such as our new induction hob). Everyone from the fitters, to the electricians, to the tilers, were all so wonderful that we would choose them all again over anyone else. Everyone really has made this such a smooth transition and I am very grateful! I'd definitely recommend visiting Designs for Living especially if you want peace of mind, reliability and professionalism as we've experienced all of this in spades! Thank you so much!

We went to Designs for Living after being disappointed with a design from another company. They listened carefully and were creative and flexible and we loved the design they came up with which was stylish and practical. Once we started the project, they were a pleasure to deal with: responsive, on time, no unexpected price rises and the team who installed our new kitchen were absolutely first rate and real masters of their craft. We cannot recommend them highly enough.
I have used Designs for living twice since 1999 and they were absolutely spot on when it came to advice and fitting. The costs are on the higher scale but the quality is guaranteed. I cannot recommend them enough.
Created a wonderful kitchen for us that still makes me happy every time I look at it. Last year they also renovated our cloakroom. The design team takes time to understand your requirements and goes out of their way to find the perfect solution for even the smallest of details. The quality of the product is also excellent. Over the course of the installations, there were inevitably occasional hiccups along the way. These were all handled promptly and with little fuss. A very friendly and professional company.
