   Visited Home Bargains at Wyvern today and was really disappointed by the service. I was served by a young girl on till one who was incredibly rude and abrupt — no please, no thank you, just a very cold attitude. A little kindness and basic manners would go a long way when dealing with customers. Not the experience I expect when shopping here.

   Very appalling staff members, especially the lady with purple hair and glasses at the till. She was very rude and horrible she even said she “can’t wait to get out of here” in front of all the customers that were waiting to be served at the till. The other members of staff were very unhelpful when I wanted to check the price of something. I have never been to a store where all the staff members are so unprofessional and unapproachable. I hope management deal with this accordingly as I would not like to experience this again

   Pretty much as you'd expect....or not, in some cases. Lots of homeware products, from cussions and mirrors to coffee tables and occasional chairs, some of which is decent quality... some not so much. It also sells a vast range of other products, food, drinks, alcohol, DIY tools, garden furniture and equipment etc, again of various degrees of quality. Stock is seasonal and definitely of the on trend/fast fashion variety so don't expect too much, just make sure you can't get better for not much more. Tills are normally a bit of a nightmare, never enough on and long queues, probably not worth the effort for 1 or 2 items.

   Mixed review. They have lots of good value items compared with its rivals. Certain lines are either not coming in or they've stopped selling them now but wide selection anyway.. Unlike most stores there are lots of staff on the shop floor putting out the stock. (Don't expect a greeting) I have knocked off stars due to the till points. There is never enough people on tills and rather than move tills they used register 1 with a broken conveyer belt and expect people to keep pushing it down. If they work on service around the shop and tills and got more people serving it would have probably scored a 5

   Pretty much as advertised, stuff for the home at low prices, some of it at the sort of quality you would expect in a store called home bargains. I feel that the checkout assistance here is better, in fact, way better, than a similar store further into spondon and they should be proud!
