A family-run shop and post office which has all the essential elements of a good village store. Pav and his family are very friendly and extremely helpful, doing eveything they can to meet customers' needs. The fresh meat and vegetables they sell are particularly good and they keep an excellent range of wines with very helpful tasting notes on labels. They also support local charities and events and are very accommodating. I thoroughly recommend them !

Excellent village shop and post office. Run by a lovely, friendly, helpful family. Not sure where we’d be without it or them!

Super friendly family who are committed to their community. Good range of stock especially for a village and accessible opening hours

Great village shop. All the essentials and more! Love the pastries. Everything is competitively priced, which is great. They have their own wines! Always happy to try new stock if suggested too. The owners are lovely and knowledgeable and have a great sense of humour. They're always willing to help. Their staff are friendly and helpful too. Really good to have a post office still.

What a fantastic Store. Thank you so much for providing us with much needed lunch while cycling the King Alfred way. Superb range of sandwiches, savoury snacks, soft drinks etc. A great example of a high quality village convenience store!

What a fantastic village resource. Huge range of everything from foods to drinks to household products. Always a friendly welcome from the staff and super lovely owners. A far nicer experience than traveling into town to a soulless supermarket. Also excellent facilities and processes in place for managing shoppers during the Covid pandemic and keep them safe.

Lots of products to chose from for a small village shop! Even fresh salad leafs available. Friendly staff, shared my surprise of finding a german (also lithuanian) type rye bread (baked in UK, Manchester) with a lady behind the counter, apparently the bread is a local favourite.
