   Malmaison Reading continues to impress me every time I stay. I am a repeat customer and have stayed in several different rooms, all of which have been consistently spacious, very comfortable, and immaculately clean. The attention to detail in housekeeping is excellent and clearly well managed. The staff are professional, welcoming, and efficient, making check in and the overall stay smooth and enjoyable. The central location is ideal, with easy access to transport, shopping, and local attractions. The restaurant offers decent, well prepared food that is perfect for both convenience and quality. Based on multiple stays and experiences, I highly recommend Malmaison Reading and will continue to return.

   The hotel is ideally placed, close to the town centre and train station. Our room 201, was clean, comfortable and large. The bathroom was well equipped with a large bath and separate shiwer. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of quality items for both the continental and the cooked breakfasts.selections. The only problem we encountered was the noise level outside the hotel at night. Our room was located towards the rear of the hotel and this was problematic due to a local social club playing loud music into the early hours. The hotel reception investigated our complaint at the time and offered us the chance to move to a room at the front of the hotel. This happened at 00:30 and we were told that moving to the front of the hotel although possible, would bring it's own problems; the bar next door closes around 02:00 and the patrons congregate at the front of the hotel, waiting for taxis. We stayed in our original room and eventually went to sleep. All in all a nice stayed spoiled by external factors

   Visited for Saturday morning breakfast as a non-resident. It was great. Friendly and professional front of house staff; really nice continental breakfast spread; well presented and tasty cooked options. We had the full English Breakfast and Eggs Benedict. Really nice experience and I would come again. I would recommend it if you fancy a hotel-style breakfast.

   Visited Reading and Oxford for a weekend trip so decided to stay in Malmaison. This was my first time ever with a Malmaison property and I’m happy to say they are a really good Brad offering a value for money hospitality for their customers and they go slightly beyond what you’d expect which is always great! Their rooms also are cosy and you can connect your device to the television for streaming which is soo good as many hotels lately always have these issues which for a consumer like me is not acceptable when you are not travelling for business. It seems the technology and guest experience work together to offer a great service. The breakfast was also really nice with good varieties for differing demand. Great location too. Reception staff are always available and help with any issues you’d have ⭐️

   Lovely hotel and the themed suites are pricy but a novel treat if you want some space with a different ambience. Fantastic breakfast. No parking on site but there is a multistory on the opposite side of reading train station, so it's only a five minute walk. Great location of you want the reading night life.

   I needed a place for a last minute business lunch near the station and decided to try Malmaison in Reading. We went to the bar and were served by a very welcoming employee called Yvette. Yvette went out of her way to look after us, our drinks and food were absolutely spot on and the service was the best I have had for a very long time! Next time I need to go somewhere in Reading for a business lunch I will most certainly go back to Malmaison!

   The rooms were not very good. Getting a bit old and rough around the edges. The shower head needed descaling. Bathrooms had nowhere to hang the hand towels or anywhere to hang near the shower. The USB charging points did not work next to the bed, the desk lamp did not work and worst of all the WiFi is completely insecure. No passwords needed to access at all!! Also the cleaners were very noisy in the early morning by repeatedly slamming adjoining room doors. Won't be staying again unless they give the rooms a refresh. The staff were great and dud go above and beyond. The breakfasts were good as well, although the portion sizes were different each morning. That meant the value for money was diminished without explanation

   Came up to reading for a weekend away. The malmaison has not disappointed! Superb location near the train station and close to town centre. The room was lovely and clean and had all the amenities we needed. Chef Mal restaurant I could not recommend higher the food was out of this world!! Even the breakfast you didn't want to leave any. A great experience and the staff are so lovely and friendly.

   I spent one night in the Malmaison (it was a very short visit to Reading). The hotel is very welcoming as soon as you step through the front door. The room was well-appointed with everything you're likely to need. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If happily stay again.
