   This is a lovely modern hotel. The rooms are really nice with the nice touch of a glass wall into the bathroom which can either let more light into the room or be made translucent at the touch of a button. The food was good and the pool is a good size with two 20m lanes for proper swimming. I travel around the country a lot for work, and this is one of my favourite hotels.

   Exceptional Stay with Outstanding Service! I recently stayed at the Village Hotel in Basingstoke and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the modern facilities and welcoming atmosphere. What really made this stay special was the incredible hospitality provided by Zara. She went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Zara's warm and professional manner, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests really stood out. She made me feel valued and well looked after throughout my entire visit. It's rare to encounter such exceptional customer service, and Zara is a real credit to the hotel. The hotel itself offers excellent amenities, comfortable rooms, and convenient location. The staff across the board were friendly and helpful, but Zara's amazing service truly elevated the entire experience. I would highly recommend the Village Hotel Basingstoke to anyone visiting the area. I'll definitely be returning on my next trip! Five stars - thank you especially to Zara for making my stay so memorable!

   Really enjoyed our couples stay here on a Friday night. Staff on reception were super friendly. Rooms are very nice and up to date. Bar and restaurant are lively, staff good and big screen showing sports and news. Shame the darts needs £10 each to play!! Breakfast was good, usual hot and cold buffet. Good selection. We used the huge gym and the swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Everything made us have a good and refreshing short break away from usual family life. Will visit again.

   We had a lovely weekend stay as a family of four — myself, my husband, and our two children. The hotel was perfect for us! The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. A special thank you to Zara at reception — she was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and professional. Her warm attitude really made a difference. We would definitely recommend this hotel to families looking for a relaxing and well-managed place to stay.

   We had family stay here for Christmas so the location of the hotel is great. The Starbucks is also quite nice and spacious. We did eat in the restaurant for one evening which was really good value for money and a breakfast that had a good selection of hot items + cold. Staff were polite and helpful also.

   Stayed Christmas Eve Christmas Day Check in was easy. Rooms beautiful and very clean Bed was awesome and comfortable. Towels very soft. Rooms very well equipped. The location is close to all the amenities and the Town Centre. Electric car chargers on site. The hotel is a 3 Star In my opinion it's seriously worth either a 4 or 5. Staff are very experienced and very friendly and helpful. My Compliments Food on site Well Presented and good quality and value. There is an amazing Starbucks on the site.

   The staff were very friendly and very helpful; the room was good and comfortable; the gym (there's a £5 leisure charge) was excellent/commercial level. Most importantly, although I encountered a bit of an issue during my stay, the manager took the time to call me himself to put things right and I was really impressed by his approach and attitude.

   Just on the edge of the city centre near to the Basingstoke Campus and the AA building this is one of the newer Village hotels. The staff were great as we're the rooms. The food was well prepared and value for money. Bar prices on par with local pubs but they have special deals at times so watch out for these. A good Base to explore from not far from the Bombay Sapphire distillery and other places of interest. Would have no hesitation in stopping here again.
