Staff were extremely friendly and informative when explaining what was happening during the consultation and eye examination. Made to feel welcomed and I'll be happy to reschedule another appointment in the future
My eye test was done by Beth and she was both efficient and friendly. I didn’t feel rushed at all and she went out of her way to make me feel comfortable. I am deaf and wear heating aids but still need to see the face of the person I am talking to and this can be problematic during an eye test. Beth made sure I understood the instructions throughout my test and made sure to face me when explaining the eye scan etc.. Every member of staff I encountered was efficient and friendly but Beth stood out as a considerate professional who made my visit to Spec Savers a very pleasant experience.
As a wheelchair user the store is not very accessible. The doorway has a thick mat and a raised sill. Waiting areas are not comfortable for wheelchair users. Some equipment cannot be comfortably used by myself as the adjustable table does not go low enough. The expectation that all customers would be able to transfer to your seats/ examination chairs does not consider some physical disabilities. However, the staff are wonderful. Patient, kind and trying their best to meet my needs.
The staff are brilliant at this store. From the moment you arrive you are treated like a VIP. The front desk team and very welcoming. The OCP scan is incredible technology and great value. The optician was extremely knowledgable and explained everything to me. This is a fabulous store and I would highly recommend it.

Booked an eye test with OCT scan online. Tecnicians were polite and efficient. The eye test was very thorough and she took time to lisgen, to explain the results. Good range of frames with rigorous cleaning after being touched. Eye test 25 scan 10 ordered varifocals for 184.
Lovely friendly staff and optometrists! Went for my 2 children's appointments and everyone was so helpful and especially great with my children, explained everything well and answered all questions without rushing us.
The better half went here for glasses and the staff couldnt do enough for her. The visit initially started off slowly with plenty of attempted upselling. Following the eyetest the consultant who helped her fetched multiple frames and advised on the best and most cost effective options.
I’ve been at this branch for over 15years and it’s gone downhill massively! The service here is absolutely shocking! The staff have no idea what they are doing, you have an appointment booked and had me waiting 20-40mins on more than once occasion, appointments are rushed and not done properly, the staff are so inexperienced and awful both In the contact lense department and downstairs! I’ve been there and rang several times over the last few months because they cannot get anything right! Paying monthly for contacts I do not get on time and are not even suitable, telling me glasses on in stock then that they need to be ordered everything. I would avoid this place at all costs!!!!
