Hi, I used your store this evening and was served by Charlie. He was so helpful, professional and understanding. Hence making the effort to make this review. The pharmacist on duty was also kind enough to come and assist from behind the counter as well and I felt very well looked after today. Thank you Rose Street Pharmacy team. Kind regards. Eileen

The staff work really hard and are clearly busy. If you are a little patient then you will be fine. If you need immediate service then you will be disappointed. I don't mind a little wait.

What a shambles! Makes Fawlty Towers look like The Ritz! It only gets 1 star because of the young man, who said he was new, who clearly didn't have a clue how anything works there, but had been put to deal with a long queue of pretty irate folk who had been waiting ages. Otherwise it would have been no stars. Having received a text that my prescription was now ready to collect (following a mix up between them and the GP last week), I had to queue for over half an hour (even though there were only about half a dozen people in front of me) whilst watching several people wandering around seemingly aimlessly looking for things in various places. Having been asked for my date of birth 3 times before being able to find me on the computer the young assistant confirmed that the system showed that the correct medication had been dispensed. He then took an, unsuccessful, 10 minutes looking for the "paper copy" until a colleague came to help him. It was eventually found in a tray of prescriptions which hadn't been put in the "rack" they sort through for items on the shelves! Another 5 minutes and he eventually found my medication (fortunately as it's a strong painkiller and I ran out this morning despite ordering it 10 days ago!) I thought in the days of electronic transfers between GP and pharmacy had done away with the need for bits of paper but obviously Rose Street Pharmacy are still working in the 1970s despite using a computer to confirm personal details and details of the prescribed medications! I fear I will have to return to an online pharmacy (which I used when we lived elsewhere and didn't have a local pharmacy). I'm not well enough to stand for getting on for an hour just to pick up a prescription I was told was "ready for collection". They say they have a "delivery service" but the small print says "you may have to pay" (you don't with the online pharmacies) and who knows how long it would be between requesting a prescription and it actually being delivered as it's just been 10 days between requesting through the NHS app and me actually being able to collect it. It's just not good enough, Rose Street Pharmacy. People's lives might be at stake here!!

This pharmacy is completely overwhelmed by the volume of patients it is purporting to serve and is not fit for purpose. Expect long queues and waiting times whenever you go. Staff turnover is high and the newbies get the unenviable job of dealing with customers so that those responsible for this shambles can stay out of sight. Although located next to Wokingham Medical Centre there is a complete disconnect between the two, leaving patients lacking vital medications on a consistent basis. One or two staff members try to help, but most are very disengaged and confused by out-of-date practices, policies and procedures. There are two other pharmacies nearby, Boots and Wokingham Pharmacy. Use these instead.

Shambles , Probably up their with Faulty Towers as the worst run business in the Uk. A filing system that is 500 years out of date and staff that can never find anything. Takes 20 minutes to serve every customer because of the above.

Extremely rude pharmacist tonight when I went in to collect an emergency prescription(ventolin inhaler) which I had a referral for from 111. I was told I would have to pay for my prescription as it was an emergency. I explained that I have an exemption and I do not pay for prescriptions. His reply was βwell itβs up to youβ whilst hiding behind his computer. I insisted I wasnβt paying and yet again, a rude response. Absolutely no customer service skills. After getting very frustrated, I was told to show a bit of gratitude! I pulled up the NHS website on my phone which clearly states if you have an exemption, this also applies to emergency prescriptions. He was extremely unhelpful and rude. I did finally get my prescription free of charge as he magically found βa way around itβ I will not being going back!

I'm a new customer, I don't really have any problems here. There was just a bit of a shortage just after Christmas, I think theyre extremely busy and that might be why the rating is so harsh. But if you come during quieter times it seems fine to me.

I just went to buy a cream antibiotic for my eye they were 2 women at the till, they were not nice,I asked how to use the cream because it is my first time with this issue and they reject to tell me. They told me to look at the instructions and when I looked it says follow your pharmacist's instructions. I cannot because they did not wabt to assist properly. I found them quite rude too.

Awful service from the pharmacist here. Do not recommend. Have had nothing but bad experiences since I started going here after covid. Would recommend absolutely any pharmacy over this one.

When you make any purchase from this pharmacy check the expiry date before you make a payment, as their stock can be old and may only have a short shelf-life, ie three months before the expiry date! Once you've made the purchase they will not replace the item. Staff condescending and rude.
