This is one of my favorite Hilton brand hotels. The staff here is fantastic. They remember you even if you were there 2 years ago. The customer service is out of this world. I highly recommend staying here if you're in Southampton or taking an Atlantic Crossing or coming back from one on the Queen Mary II. Rooms are updated. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Some rooms have walk-in showers. Others have nice deep bathtubs. You need to ask on check-in though. I believe normally it's a 15-minute drive to the cruise terminal. I think within half an hour I was on board last time from leaving the hotel. If it changes, I'll update the timings for that on this review later.

Nothing really great but comfortable rooms serviced every day. The receptionists are pleasant and helpful. At least half of the staff at the bar were pleasant but ran into a shocking situation with a couple. Food can be dodgy but mention of slight dissatisfaction should not evoke a retort, as it did with this man whose only explanation was that “ the other 5-6 people “ have not complained”! Strange criteria! The two then got argumentative and on asking about my steak order in terms of quality, retorted” we cannot be sure if it will be okay”! Anyway the manager came out and very kindly served it himself. These two had ganged up on me and retaliated in aggressive behaviour refusing to bring the bill to be signed, stating they will not serve me - snatching unfinished glass of wine. When I said “ do what you want but I don’t care a monkey” I was accused of calling him a monkey! Even the manager being English did not or intentionally not recognise the figure of speech. Being a surgeon and taking rest for the next days work, I was intruded by a phone call and told I will be debarred from the common area. Beware, do not complain about food! Madhup Chaurasia

I was surprised to see a 3.8 rating for a Double Tree. And yet not surprised for this one. Review for 11/2/25. 1. Only one person checking in a line of 5 Guests. Then the Check-in person was snarky. But assumed she had a bad day and ignored it. after all I wouldn't have to deal with them again. Meh! But in addition, I couldn't understand her English. Other reviews have mentioned this. But you completely dismissed them and denied there experiences. Why would you do that to a customer? 2. Planned our stay here to do some laundry. We have been in Europe for 10 weeks and planned this stop. Every other Hilton that we have stopped at, actually had a washer and dryer, when they had listed under amenities "Laundry". Turns out they send it out and so it is an exorbitant cost. They need to clarify their amenities. 3. Restaurant: Ordered a 12" Pizza on the menu. Expected a round 12" Pizza. Extra ingredients were $2 a topping. A little high...but oh well. The Pizza was not round. It was an oval 12" X 4". Much less than a round. Ridiculous! A Rip Off! Not used to this type of treatment at a Hilton Property. Former Diamond Member. Addendum: I would say that the wait staff in the restaurant was fine and we tipped accordingly. The Bartender was fantastic and deserves a raise.

My recent stay here was nothing short of perfect. While the room was comfortable and the facilities were excellent, what truly stood out was the exceptional level of service, particularly from a staff member Celia. She went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. She was always friendly, proactive, and had a wonderful attention to detail. Whether it was offering recommendations or simply checking in with a warm smile, her service was impeccable. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. I look forward to returning!

Really good experience, the cookies on check in were a nice touch, very pleasant staff, our request for a cot was accommodated although our toddler wasn't able to sleep in it in the end as it was so hard at the bottom, we did ask for extra bedding at the time of booking. Room was nice and tidy, ample space both there and in the bathroom. Toddler had a lovely time playing in the room and in the hotel lobby where there was a children's table complete with chairs, drawing paper and crayons. She loved it. Breakfast buffet was lovely as well with limited scope for waste as the options were just about right. There was definitely something for everyone there. My only qualm was that I fell quite sick for a few days from the "curry" we had at dinner time. The menu option for this also mentioned a "dosa" being part of it but this was incorrect as there was only naan bread given (completely different from a dosa). Nevertheless really pleasant staff in the hotel and the restaurant part. I would skip the curry next time but would happily rebook here again. Thank you for a pleasant stay. Stay was booked via an external website and not the hotel directly.

Had an amazing weekend away at this Hilton. Staff very friendly and very accommodating. Food was really nice both breakfast and room service. Though would like more options on The dinner menu without chilli as the husband has a allergy. The gym was a great little spot for a morning workout. And the hotel itself is beautiful. Pricing was amazing and honestly the staff made us and our like one feel very special. Will definitely recommend and be returning.

Very smart hotel. Big rooms although the lighting in the main bedroom area is a bit on the dim side. Bathroom lights are very good. Mirror has anti mist bit, big TV, USB sockets and a kettle with good quality tea and coffee supplied. Restaurant meal choice is limited and breakfast is OK with the basic cooked fare.

Pleasant decor and nice room although refurbishment work detracts. Minimal gluten free choices in the restaurant with no suitable starters. Expensive too! We picked Chardonnay from the wine list - not available. No ice for our drinks. What? However, we had a good night's sleep. Great TV, blackout curtains, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was perfectly adequate with the welcome benefit of gluten free toast. Overall satisfactory...they just need to learn how to reply to emails!

We are staying here a few days before a cruise. We are an accessible room. It's very well laid out the bed is comfortable. We've had breakfast and dinner at the dining room the breakfast is fantastic. I had the fish and chips for dinner last night I thought it was very good. The staff at the hotel has been friendly and helpful. So far our stay has been excellent.
