It’s easy to see why the Palmerston Rooms are SO highly rated. Everything about them is just what you want. Clean, tidy, comfortable and smart.
Stayed for 2 nights and loved it, extremely clean and comfortable and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful, had full English breakfast which was perfectly cooked and kept us going all day, will definitely stay again when down that part of the country
Just had a very good stay at The Palmerston Rooms. We found the room very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent. We parked at Broadwater Road car park which was just around the corner, and was very good value (cost £1, arriving after 4PM, leaving before 10:29AM the next day).
Helpful owners who organised a taxi for us. Rooms and public areas very clean and lovely decoration. Excellent breakfast very well presented.
Great 1 night stay last weekend for a wedding in Southampton. Warm welcome from Graham and Kay. Warm room too but grateful for large fan in room and just took duvet out of cover! very comfortable bed. Geat breakfast.
Great place to stay if exploring Romsey and surrounding area. Lovely clean room with great facilities. Welcoming hosts. I would definitely recommend Graham's "zingy" eggs for breakfast!
Very convenient location. Rooms are always spotless and the breakfasts are fabulous. It's our go to place everytime we visit Romsey.
Spotlessly clean with lovely, homely, well equipped rooms. It was a great location for 5 of us to stay for one night to attend our daughters graduation in Southampton (train station walkable, direct in Southampton). Gorgeous home cooked breakfast too! Can’t fault it in any way, including the cost. Thank you!
Arrived after a long journey,easy to find but not much parking however our host ,Richard, kindly showed up where to park for the night. Our room was a small , sloping ceiling ,attic room at the top of three flights of stairs .The en suite was through a narrow door, down a couple of steps. The room was clean and plainly decorated. Lovely white fluffy towels.It had all the required items with a small hanging area as no space for a wardrobe or chest of drawers.Tea and coffee provided with kettle , biscuits and the extra touch of sweets in a jar but only 4 little plastic cartons of milk allowing for a drink at night and one in the morning.I am sure more would have been given if we had requested. One upright chair was provided. There did not appear to be a lounge area. Everything was small but perfectly formed with good quality items.The shower was fabulous . Despite notices to mind your head difficult not to when passing by bed to get to the bathroom. The dining room was lovely and the food excellent. Palmerston Rooms wonderfully located to visit the beautiful town of Romsey.
Brilliant! Stayed for 3 nights & couldn't ask for better. Spotless clean, comfy beds & delicious breakfast. Very central to the town. Graeme & Kay made us feel so welcome, nothing was a problem. I'd definitely stay again if going to Romsey.
