An old fashioned guest house run by a wonderful host called Simon . Rooms spotless the dinning room was brilliant and several choices for breakfast . I asked to borrow a broom to get leaves off my car and Simon went out and did it for me.

This is how it is. A nice area to be in, nice grounds. The building is a little dated. However, the owner is trying his best to go through the rooms with modernising as he goes along. Breakfast we'll can't fault the full English, probably may need to add continental breakfast? Would have been nice to have a fridge in the room

Thank you to the warm welcome received by Simon at his clean, well maintained and handily located Guesthouse, only a short walk into Ashby town. En suite Bathrooms especially nicely finished. A tasty cooked breakfast served in a cute dining room, that was included in the price. An enjoyable stay, most definitely recommended.

Absolutely top draw, everything you could ask for in a B&B massive comfortable room at a great price, with a fantastic host who makes you feel so competitive & cooks up a lovely breakfast, if you're aiming for the centre of the country you won't do much better than Cedars Guest house

Had an overnight stay before proceeding to a wedding the next day. As soon as we pulled onto the drive our host, Nick was there with the warmest of greetings. He carried our case to our room on the second floor. A lovely room with an outstanding view of the Welsh countryside. Everything was spotlessly clean and the homemade cookies were a welcome and delicious treat. We informed Nick that we were going to a wedding at a nearby very upmarket hotel the next day. He promised us that his breakfast would be better. Do you know what, he was so right. Couldn’t fault it. If you’re thinking of staying here, do it

Really nice experience. Staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant to talk to. The breakfast was perfect. All the rooms were very spacious and absolutely spotless, there wasn't one thing out of place. I will definitely be going there again in the future and I would highly recommend a few nights there.
