Not a bad little hotel, everything was ok. Food was ok. Nothing special but as a hotel it served its purpose. Maybe a bit of modernisation in the rooms, bathroom very worn. Overall ok

I was working nearby and needed somewhere close, and this was perfect, the room was clean and very well set out as I was travelling alone I was thinking it would be one cup and 2 sashes of coffee with a smaller amount of milk, how wrong I was I had ample amount of coffee with more milk and cream than I could use, and for me that made it. The bar manager said it would only be pizza for this evening and was not pushing anything in fact he said if I wanted something else that's ok to go out for my evening meal (I liked that not over selling stuff) I went to a local restaurant and came back to a perfect pint, the bed was great very comfortable. Breakfast was also very nice and served with a smile. I would not hesitate in booking here again.

Booked here for 4 nights for work from Newcastle.... What a surprise!!!.... So, so personable from the staff that own and run this hidden gem... The food is outstanding... And I mean outstanding!!.... The rooms have everything you need as well as a fridge with bottled water.... A family run business which deserves our attention.... Thanks Linda..

A hidden gem nearby Crewe. I booked my room by mistake, thinking it was the Crewe Arms Hotel in front of the Crewe train station. I didn’t retreat my wrong. Spotless room, very kind and friendly staff, cosy pub and awesome cuisine. I would like to say that the typical Spanish “tapas” in the menu was a real surprise.

Had an absolutely fantastic stay. Was very short notice and I needed food and somewhere to park and truck and trailer. They couldn't do enough for me knowing I'd had a nightmare of a day! Food was outstanding, the house burger was seriously special! I've never seen a sausage so big on my breakfast and I've seen many a breakfast haha all in all for a cheap and cheerful overnight you get exponentially more than you pay for!

Three of us shared a family room, dog-friendly, large and exceptionally clean. Pretty sure the carpets had just been cleaned. En suite bathroom was spotless, too. Kettle, tea, instant coffee, biscuits. Hair drier, TV. No WiFi in the rooms but WiFi available in public areas. Breakfast was easy, service was great.

We booked a 2 person bedroom a few days before our stay after another booking got cancelled. Good and easy welcome. Very clean rooms and no noise at all during the evenings or night. Lovely breakfast with good options. We also had dinner 2 times. I would totally recommend you have the tapas when you’re eating here! A lot of tasty options and very good value for your money. One of the better stays on our roadtrip for sure!
