   Unsure if their email system is working properly so advise you call for any enquiries. Booked but decided not to stay after being told that dogs (although welcome) weren't permitted on the white bed sheets (that's fine we brought dog beds and a blanket with us but a lot of people travelling with dogs may not be as well-equipped) I'd advise the bed info is added to the booking information to help future guests. Then we were asked for a time of arrival by email twice. I'd asked for confirmation when check in started and ended as a response to the first email, but received no response and had another email on the day of arrival to ask when we would arrive. It's probably a lovely place but we decided not to stay as I had been traveling for two days and really just wanted a peaceful place to stay without any hassle and I felt hassled. Maybe others would see it a different way, but I didn't feel at ease so just wanted to go home. The emails about the dogs, the bedding, time of arrival etc just felt like it all should have been in the info section prior to booking. In the end we just drove back home to Devon and skipped staying to avoid the stress. It's clearly a lovely place going by the other reviews, however I didn't feel welcomed from the off which is a shame. Key take away points, contact the owner directly to confirm dog policy and check in time rather than rely on emails and Hotels.com messaging. Hopefully you'll have a lovely stay as many others who have reviewed this place have

   Lovely B&B in a quiet, rural location. Despite being just off the M6 it feels very rural and is a great place for a restful overnight stay. We stayed with our two kids and the room was quite tight for four but absolutely fine for one or two nights. Our dog was also made very welcome. Plenty of parking and we were all delighted with the wonderful breakfast. Set in beautiful grounds and lovely to see the horses coming and going from the stables next door. All in all we found this place to be very good value and a great place for a stopover and will certainly spend the night here again when travelling along the M6.

   Location you will either love for it's quietness, views and tranquility or not like for it's isolation in the middle of nowhere. Personally it was just right for me. Breakfasts were hearty and well cooked, rooms basic but clean and well presented with bathroom toiletries supplied. Also tea and coffee in the room.

   I've stayed here twice & would highly recommend it, Rural location (on a farm), en-suite accommodation with access to a fully equipped kitchen. The accommodation is located in a separate detached building, which is next to the farmhouse. It's very clean & a freshly cooked to order break to set you up for the day. There's plenty of parking, I once turned up in a very large van & parked no problem.

   3 Rooms are in separate building so come and go as you please. Room was clean with view of field. Tea/coffee making facilities with TV. No WiFi in Room, Vodafone signal was weak in room but good in the lane. Nice big breakfast. Very reasonable rates.
