Didn't have to wait long at all. Friendly and helpful staff and was well looked after. Had a really good chat with the young man who did my examination and he answered all the questions I had.

I visited Specsavers for a routine eye test and to select new glasses. My appointment started about 15–20 minutes later than scheduled. During the appointment, some of the explanations to my concerns were unclear and at times, felt a little dismissive. I also wish I had been informed when booking that a trainee would be performing the tests and that everything would need to be signed off by a supervisor, which added extra time. When discussing lens options and pricing, I felt the explanations about thinning vs flattening were brief and not very detailed. I was told that a more expensive option was my only choice, but I’m unsure this was fully necessary. Clearer guidance here would have been appreciated. I also mentioned that I’ve been noticing changes in my vision, including needing to close one eye to see the TV clearly and experiencing more trips and falls. I was told that my prescription had only changed by 0.25 and that any vision issues were likely due to scratches on my lenses. While I understand minor prescription changes can occur, I felt that this explanation didn’t fully address my concerns. In the past I have had similar minor scratches on my lenses which hadn't affected my vision at all. So it is definitely still concerning that I was noticing a difference in my vision. A more thorough discussion of potential causes and solutions would have been helpful. Overall, the appointment was functional, but clearer communication about who would be performing the tests, more detailed guidance on lens options, and more attention to patient concerns would have made the experience smoother. On a positive note, two of the reception staff were very helpful, polite, and welcoming, which made the check-in process smooth and pleasant.
Brilliant care received for an urgent eye issue. Zara was amazing, organising the hospital, GP and pharmacy to ensure I received the care I needed. Thank you so much Zara and team! Fast, efficient, caring and professional. Could not ask for better treatment and care.

My son was in for an eye test and to pick his first pair of glasses the team were so good and patient with him. Eli was brilliant helping him with the glasses. Great service I even got my own pair of glasses adjusted while waiting too
