These guys have gone above and beyond for me. It would have been so easy for them to brush the trouble with the seat off as a 'me' issue, but instead they have gone out of their way to try and solve why the rubber brackets keep breaking. They have always been helpful and communicative and continue to be. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
Just picked up our Wavesport Hydras from these guys today and couldn't have had a better experience. Went in originally to browse and see what was out there as we were looking to get back out on the water and both the gents took the time to explain and understand what we needed and made some solid recommendations. We walked out feeling like we knew enough to be confident with making a decision to get some! We ordered and the whole process was smooth and we were kept up to date while they moved one of the kayaks and PFDs up from one of their other shops. On collection, he had tons of help and advice on how to strap them to our Thule roofbars and really gave us the confidence we weren't going to damage them or have them come off. Couldn't recommend these guys more - super friendly, knowledgeable and aren't pushy with the sales (they just genuinely want to understand what is needed, which is refreshing!). We will 100% be back for any other of our kayak needs.
I needed some replacement rivet caps for my Thule roof box. I received excellent customer service and a fast turnaround even though it was a small order. I will definitely be coming to these guys when I buy my kayak and would recommend them to anyone.

Picked up my new Viking Pro-fish reload last Friday from Southampton Canoes. I have never been there before and was very impressed. Car parking was brilliant, lots of space to move and load the kayak. Lots of amazing stock, canoes, kayak and accessories (I could browse forever!). The Team are fantastic, knowledgeable and friendly with a real passion for customer service. When I picked up my kayak Henry prepared all my purchases and talked me through everything, not a single detail missed. I had some further questions which I later emailed and in a very short period was emailed the answers...no 'chatbot' insight! I was missing a couple of screws which were promptly delivered the next day...BRILLIANT! If you need anything Kayak or canoe based give Southampton Canoes a visit; you wont be disappointed!

I popped in to talk, as a novice, about Canoes and after some expert advice from Bradley and Henry, I left with a sit upon Kayak. There was no pressure, simply bags of knowledge and experience, which I welcomed. Mr. K, as I have named him, was delivered this morning and is now in the SUP storage at Swanwick marina in a very snug berth, ready for the first trip out. Before that I have to work out how to get into the dry suit which I have had for a number of years but which I have never worn. A trip to Andarks is on the cards to get Andy Goddard to show me once again how it went. And then we will be off...
Fantastic service from these guys, it is very refreshing to find somewhere that still takes customer service seriously, they swiftly responded to my emails and quickly engaged with the manufacturer to answer my questions, Many thanks to Henry and his efforts in aftersales care, which is so often lacking these days but not here. I would recommend Southampton Canoes (canoe shops uk) and hope to deal with them again soon.
Visited to try some different sizes of kayak while I choose the right one. The two guys in there could not have been more helpful, polite or knowledgable. If only everywhere had such great customer service! If you’re thinking of visiting then do, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you!
I ordered an RTM Tempo from Dave and Darren, credit where credit is due the advice and customer service is really superb, cannot fault it. Very happy with my Kayak which is perfect for my needs. Would highly recommend Southampton Canoes, and will definitely be buying from them again in the future.
