Came here on an early Saturday dinner, walk-in and we immediately got a table. The whole vibe is different comparing the front tables and the 1st floor which has a bar vibes vs the ground but back tables which was a little quieter. The place became a lot busier after an hour around 7pm. We ordered the cauli wings which has a nice crispy batter and the chicken wings (similar batter but needed a bit more salt and the 95p sauce pot it came with was just not enough). I suggest a but more generous sauce for the chicken wings- same amount the cauli wings get. For our mains, we got the beef short ribs- beautiful smokey flavour, fatty (which I love) and MASSIVE portion (came with the separated bone- which I think was not necessary). We also got the wagyu beef brisket- super tender with a milder smokey flavour. Both came with generous helpings of cajun fries and coleslaw. I think I would've liked a bit of side salad to counterbalance the fattiness of the meat. But irregardless, we came for meat and meat we got. I would recommend especially the short rib if you're in town.

Second visit back, and food fantastic again! Really enjoyed having the festive burger. Easily accommodated us as a larger party and our two dogs! It’s rare to come across restaurants that allow dogs. Thanks again for a memorable evening!

I have to agree with another reviewer that this restaurant has gone downhill (possibly due to the popularity/unable to service to the usual standards?). After biting into the burger, I opened it to check it was my order and not a mistake by the delivery driver. The burger was dry and lukewarm, with no cheese and very little sauce - something I had not experienced until the last couple of orders. The halloumi has reduced in portion size and this portion (pictured) is insane for £9. As least the dip wasn’t missing this time!

Beautiful food. Me and my partner shared 3 small plates and then had a burger as well. Everything was delicious and well cooked and flavoured. Burnt ends were incredible!!!!! Service was also 10/10, Ryan was attentive throughout, couldn’t fault him.

Restaurant with two seating areas on ground and first floor, both with a bar area. Kitchen is at the back on the ground floor with service window looking into the main restaurant area. Toilets situated upstairs. Service was quick, food also came quickly. Burnt ends are a must to order, absolutely delicious. Main was 2 seasoned chicken legs on the bone (would have liked this specified that it would be served on the bone). One was perfectly cooked and the other very dry so quality was unfortunately variable. Loaded fries tasty but not enough of them compared to the meat on offer, portion was far too small. Food was very enjoyable despite those smaller niggles. Cocktails without alcohol are always unfairly expensive but the cocktails with alcohol were well delivered and a good range of drinks on offer. Regular deals throughout the week, lots of offers to take advantage of and worth researching before you go. Overall a good night out and I'd go back again!

Found out they had started doing roasts and had to try! I never knew my favourite roast was beef short rib and it was amazing. Roasties crispy and fluffy with a lovely taste. Veggies delightful even the Brussels and I'm not a huge fan! Big shout to James V the chef behind some of the tastiest gravy I've had. If you get a chance make sure you go I've already booked my next visit!

Wanted to try based on recommendation from others. I had the pulled pork, which was plentiful. Also ordered sides of pit beans & mac & cheese. Both sides were much bigger portions than I expected for sides. All food was delicious. Service was friendly & very good. I normally add a fair amount of bbq sauce to pulled pork, however the rubs & spices used on this pork gave it such a nice flavour that I didn’t add any. The quantity definitely ‘beat’ me, but they offered a take away pot, so I got to enjoy a second time around. Will definitely be back.

Excellent service by the staff, my food arrived perfectly on time and it was delicious! I enjoyed the atmosphere and I can't wait to recommend this place to everyone. Cocktails were also fantastic! I will 100% be coming back very soon. The smash burger was so good I ended up eating the whole thing before taking any photos, but please look at the loaded fries! A must have

Absolutely loved the food, the portions were great and the food was so hot. The corn on the cob was better than nandos, it was melt in the mouth. The burger was so juicy. The staff were so friendly. I will definitely be going back again.
