   Very impressed with Walkabout! We asked them if we can bring a group of South Africans in the community to their pub to watch the rugby together. They were so accommodating and said they would reserve the upper floor for us and put the rugby on a big screen. They really walked the extra mile to help us feel welcome and to help the group have an enjoyable time. They had a conferti cannon which they popped every time the Springboks scored and even made Springbokkies (a specific type of shooter that is usually served during Springbok rugby games). It was a great event! Thank you Walkabout!

   Pros: - I've been here a few times and the staff are always friendly. - There's plenty of seating and screen's Cons: - The food menu is quite limited and I couldn't see all the same options on the app. - I find myself waiting longer for service than I do most other places, regardless of how busy it is. - The men's toilets are in a pretty sorry state. I know you must get some sorts coming in for it to happen, but nothing has changed between the 3 weeks of my last visit: Locks not working, something hanging off the wall, missing seat lids and urinal dividers.

   I went in there last night at 12, got charged to get in. Went to the toilet then me and my friend were told by the bouncer that we have to leave. Worst pub I have ever been to, they will charge you to get in then kick you out. I wouldn't waste my time, there are plenty of better places for a drink in Newbury.

   I visited yesterday late afternoon, It was quiet but I was made welcome by Sophie who was covering the bar. I did order food which arrived in a reasonable time and was tasty and good value. It's a difficult time for hospitality businesses at the moment and I am not a regular pub goer but there is a much improved low or no alcohhol range for drivers.

   Had a staff Christmas party here. An absolutely excellent time. Awesome staff with perfect area for our party. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate everything we wanted to do and with excellent prices. Will definitely book again. Thank you.

   I went to walkabout with my colleagues and danced till 2 am. We had a really good time. The only issue was that I think after William Pearson's review the music was way too loud. I still have my ears whistling after 4 days and I hope I will get better soon honestly :( check what is the max level legally allowed to avoid your staff and customers developing issues with their ears please.

   Maybe I've just been spoilt with big city nightlife but I've been on a few occasions on Fridays and its never even been half full. also the music isn't loud enough so you can hear everyone around singing and screaming too much. One thing I will say is that the drinks prices are really reasonable and there's a good selection for whatever you wish to drink

   Fantastic pub, the staff were really welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure our team’s game was on the TV. Thank you for the football banter (Celtic/Rangers) … will pop in again when we go on our next holiday .
