It's a very good bistro that is children and dog friendly. Lots of mums and babies/todlers use it especially on Mondays. The car park is for residents of Poppy Meadows only. The food is home cooked and the coffee is excellent plus a great range of cakes. There are special nights laid on see their blackboard for details.
Top quality food, cooked well, with brilliant service. I had eggs benedict and will nonlonger eat them anywhere else - this is the beat place for them and I've had them a few times. My dad had a breakfast bap, reasonably priced, thick rations of bacon, eggs cooked to perfection. The best place for breakfast in and around Didcot. Have had lunch before and that was just as good. Great menu, great choice. Recommend milkshakes and smoothies also. Staff are friendly and welcoming.
I come here most days with my toddler. It’s has a warm friendly atmosphere and the staff are so welcoming. There is a small play area that keeps my daughter entertained whilst I have my morning coffee. The cafe caters for vegetarians and vegans and unlike other cafes in the area they do not charge more for plant based milk! The whole menu is very affordable and has perfect portion sizes. They provide excellent events such as wreath making, cheese and wine evenings and tapas evenings. The food is always delicious (especially the cakes) and the service is exceptional.
We have used the cafe during the week, and it is superb. Staff are so friendly and accommodating, and the menu has all you expect from a decent cafe. My review is on the Sunday lunch, it's only run once a month so make sure you find out when the next one is, cos it's truly lovely. Four of us, 2 had beef 2 had pork. The beef was cooked slightly pink, but can be finished off for those wishing well done. It was really tender, and tasty. Good portion of it too. Pork was really tasty too, and with the ideal selection of veggies and roast tatties, it was a terrific meal. Atmosphere wise it's so nice, really open and airy and always easy to find somewhere nice to sit, with plenty of space around you. Been in here a few times now, and always a great visit. Well priced, very clean with a great selection, oh, and really nice staff.
Had a delicious lunch here and also popped in for tea and cake. Lovely place with a great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Definitely recommend! The only criticism is that they are a bit tight with their teabags when it comes to a pot of tea, one is Definitely not enough. But other than that it's a great place to socialise and relax!
New coffee shop on the Great Western Park Estate, on the edge of Didcot in the Harwell Parish. Has a great choice of breakfast and lunch options at a very reasonable price and the staff are super friendly.
That’s the best spot in town! From the atmosphere, cleanliness, food quality and prices this place is unbeatable. I am now a regular… They trapped me with smiles, good food and almost zero waiting time! P.S. YOU must try the English Breakfast, Omelette and the homemade cakes!
Great coffee, great food, but it's becoming a little annoying having to walk over to the cash point, as the card machine is playing up again. I think they bought it from the guys that make the McDonald's ice cream machines.
Great cafe, food is fantastic (very much recommend the full English!) and great staff.
