    I was helped today by an endearing young lady named Chand. Before here I was dissatisfied and appalled by the service of a total of NINE other employees. 123456789, count them on your fingers, embarrassing. One of them even gave me the delight of waffling at me telling me to go home (I know what waffling at a customer looks like, I worked in retail, it’s rude and unnecessary.) but alas, Chand walked into my customer experience and made absolutely everything amazing. She was clever, switched on, attentive, kind, understanding, devoted, professional, funny, transparent, she didn’t even bad mouth any of her coworkers (respect because I was complaining about them), so loyal too, clearly a better person than most, competent, engaging, and ultimately did everything in her power to turn my shopping experience around! She is amazing and anybody working in customer service should strive to also give her level of commitment to their work. Chand!!!!!!! The amazing Chand!!!! Thank god because I was genuinely considering never coming back to boots. Saved the day!! Thank you!!

    l visited Reading Boots Store at the Oracles on Saturday 22nd November 2025 to get my regular Clinique Shaving items, on my visit l happen to experience an excellent Customer Service from the attendant by the name Ayah in which l was very pleased by her service, she is very knowledgeable, very friendly, very patient with the ability to go above and beyond to ensure that customers gets good customer experience when they visit the store, clearly she is a very valuable member of staff for she adds value to the team. Once again thank you Ayah for your good Customer Service.

    Absolutely fantastic service from Lisa (Elizabeth) at Boots! She was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and even went to restock Bioderma Sensibio H2O to help me find what I needed. While some other staff seemed less attentive, Lisa’s professionalism and dedication made my visit a truly positive experience. Also, a big thank you to Yuki at the Boots Pharmacy, who was incredibly caring and helpful when in urgent need to purchase a cooling gel packs for allergy.

    I had the pleasure of being helped by Lauren in nyx , she was so kind and helped me choose the right bronzer and blush as well as the best skincare for me. She has amazing customer service skills and I will definitely be returning. Also Emma in Clarins Thank you for not rushing me and giving me the chance to try out products until choose what I liked, I will be coming back to get the products recommended to me again.     **Boots – Appalling Customer Service Experience** Absolutely shocking experience at Boots. I was completely ignored by multiple members of staff who made no effort to help or even acknowledge me. No β€œplease bear with me,” no polite explanation β€” just flat-out ignorant behaviour that made it feel like customers were an inconvenience. It was genuinely one of the worst displays of customer service I’ve encountered. If it hadn’t been for Emma β€” who, unlike the rest, actually works for Boots and not one of their third-party concessions β€” I would’ve walked out. She was at least courteous, got the keys, and made an effort to help me find the lipstick I was looking for. In the end, I didn’t get what I came for, but Emma deserves credit for trying. The rest of the staff? Frankly, disgraceful. Boots should seriously reconsider how they train (or hire) their floor staff. A completely disappointing visit!

    Visited the pharmacy today to try and buy some migraine medicine for my partner, after queuing for over 20 minutes i asked for something stronger than migraleave and was shown a boots own product but was then told i could not buy it as my partner had to be present. I explained that she could not be present as she was at home crying and vomiting due to the pain but i was able to answer any questions about her medical history and also had access to her nhs app to prove what medication she was on. The assistant went and asked someone else if this was ok but came back and still refused to sell me the product . By this time other pharmacies were closed meaning i left empty handed and my partner has had to spemd this evening in excruciating pain and will have to wait until she can spend an age on hold to the gp in the morning. Considering this was a non prescription medicine and i could have answered all questions i find the service unacceptable and downright difficult for the sake of being difficult.

    Very big Boots shop. Located on first floor. You can find any kind of things from medicine to make-up and Parfums. The big baby section located on second floor. Nice and friendly staff always ready to help with any problems. From find a things you need to payment process.

    Very good shop. I go to their opticians. Good beauty department. They could make more use of their space they could hold courses i.e. photography, first aid.

    Big store. But the pharmacy is criminally understaffed. If you chose to get your prescription here you will be waiting 30 minutes plus....if you're lucky. Not the staff's fault but they seriously need more staff. If they're advertising all these extra services boots offer they should have the capacity for it.
