Peter and Oliver were wonderful hosts, the room was clean and comfortable, and the Spanish-inspired breakfast that Peter prepared for me was delicious! I stopped at The Kingsley at Eversley for one night on my way from London to Cornwall. I was thrilled to find a "green-powered" inn on my route. I expected a simple, comfortable single room with breakfast the following morning (for a small fee), but I didn't expect to be completely charmed by Peter and Oliver! They made my brief stay with them truly memorable with their warmth, hospitality, and interesting back story. Delightfully informal. A truly lovely stay.

Edit - avoid if you plan on staying with an EV, owner blasting my review as unfair but indeed the corridors stunk of piss, and i couldn’t charge my car (there was 2 spots, but one was occupied by a non-electric car) so i left early. I agreed that the charger would be vacant from early hours, but plans changed, and it wasn’t available from the time they stated How about asking the non-electric cars just to not park there? Positives: The staff were friendly on arrival, and called to confirm i was still arriving, as I had travelled for over 4 hours to visit family and checked in roughly 8pm, they offered breakfast options, and I had access to the room even when returning 11pm after a meal with family in the area The room and bathroom was clean and stocked with toiletries, comfortable night sleep Negatives: The corridors up to the room smelled strongly of pet urine, the room thankfully did not have a odour. I requested access to the EV charger or arrival at roughly 8pm, unfortunately someone had parked their 90’s jaguar in front of it, the staff mentioned the gentleman would be leaving early in the morning, seeming to make mo effort to ask the owner to move the car I ended up checking out at 8am and the charger was still inaccessible leaving me with a near-flat battery in the morning, and had to seek other EV chargers in the local area when going out of my way to book a hotel with access to car chargers, especially annoying when the car parked there was not electric, or charging.

Not long been back after a 2 nights stay as my husband had something planned at blackbushe airport. The location was amazing, it was quiet and peaceful, friendly staff and it was like a home away from home. The self catered apartment was amazing had everything we needed. We are definitely planning on returning and would recommend this to friends and family.

What a great find , quaint , charming in a beautiful setting , the room was modern with a studio style and the bathroom was wonderful ! We had breakfast on both days which was really cooked well and very good from a budget perspective . I would just like to say a special thank you to Peter the general manager for being a great host , and super helpful . The hotel is in a beautiful village with 3 great pubs , all in walking distance . " We shall be back " Steve and Dawn

A lovely hotel with a friendly welcome and very nice rooms and a good breakfast. Situated in a quiet village where the pub even closes at 9:30 on a Saturday due to low custom!

Awesome service. We arrived at The Kingsley at Eversley, between 6h30 and 7h00 am due to an early flight of 11 hours. Our check in time was at 15h00 pm. Peter no 2 came in early, made us a wonderful breakfast and offered us a space to rest. Both Peters, the owner and the assistant Manager, made us feel very welcomed. The room is spacious and clean. It is our first day of a 4 day stay and we don't want to leave, we are right at home. Thank you Peter no 1and Peter no 2.

Very disappointing with the advert being misleading. We made the best of it but won't be returning. The room was a nice size, shower was awesome, hosts were friendly and welcoming. Waivered the cost for our dogs stay. The Golden Pot pub 200m away was very dog friendly. No chef so no onsite food except breakfast which was an extremely small portion, more like a 1/2 full English rather that a full ! There was no chef on the Friday or Saturday evening and the bar/dining room was shut so we had no choice but to go further a field to get something to eat and drink. The whole place felt deserted. The courtyard which could have been lovely was in need of a good spruce up, dying plants and mismatching furniture. There was no settee in our room even though it was shown in all the photo's and there was no outside furniture for our patio so we took 2 inside chairs outside to be able to use the outside space which was the main attraction on this beautiful Easter weekend. Dogs were not allowed in the bar/dining room ....... in that case, not so dog friendly. Owner had her washing out on the line which we had to sit and look at and their dog kept coming to our patio door and pestering our dog so we couldn't relax outside.
