I visit this clinic for my guinea pigs. I am quite happy so far. Booking an apointment is very easy and doesnt have to be weeks in advance. Also their whatsapp number is awesome for any concerns that might arise. I asked questions and sent videos/pictures and i they got back to me with an answer within a few hours! The vet is also doing a good job when it comes to examining. One things i would highlight is that medication is very expensive. For example eye drops and drops for mites for 2 guinea pigs with the consulation cost 300£! Also although the vet seems like a nice person i feel like that sometimes he rushes the examination process. Lastly it would be nice if reception staff were a little bit more warm and friendly.

Was seen fairly quickly upon arrival for appointment. Vet consultant was informative & prescription was processed swiftly. Only thing i would suggest if to better my review is that the waiting area be a little bit bigger / spacious. Will continue to bring my cats here nonetheless.

We have used Vets4pets in Reading for the last 4 or so years. Patrycja and the rest of the team are exceptionally welcoming and professional and clearly have an underlying interest in the welfare of our pets. Equally we are very thankful with the time taken to explain the procedures our cats have had to take, from recovery to costings.

We’ve been coming here with our 4 cats for 10 years, and have continued to do so despite moving a little distance away. It isn’t the closest vet to us, but we’ve always been very happy with the service there. In particular, Hassan is lovely, as is Irina (who loves cats!), and the nurses and receptionists are kind and helpful (I only know Diane’s name - she’s lovely as are the others. Our kitties mean so much to us, we like to keep using a clinic we feel we know and have confidence in.

Not recommended! We always struggled with the veneered approach of of "always putting the animal first" by both the Vet Hasan S and the receptionists. This Vets4Pets practice is first and foremost a business and it shows through in every interaction. Hiked up excessive profiteering on the prescribed medicines, inflexibility in tweaking any treatment/examinations, no medicines provided in the first year of the pet care subscription, and so on. At least we're lucky that unlike friends who took their pets here for treatment/examinations and were shamed to tears by the the Vets' comments. Time to find another Vet who doesn't just know animal biology but also listens to their customers, and capable of showing even just a pinch of sympathy.

I had a terrible experience here and do not recommend if you are taking your small animals. I took my rat for a check up on her possible tumour, and the vet (Hassan Salamian) had no sympathy nor explained anything. He said about 3 sentences when I was there (regarding tumour sample being sent for £150) and did not answer much of my questions. I changed vets after going there for the second time and having the exact same experience. Very expensive as well. More a money grabbing business than an actual vet.

Molly gets a bit nervous visiting the vets. The team here know how to put her at ease. Really friendly and professional - and there’s plenty of parking so less stress for me, too!

Pretty impressed with he knowledge of one of the vets there and she had explained what the meds do as well as stating what they actually are. Quick appointment and all good so far

Would be a 5 star review if the receptionist wasn’t this unprofessional. We found a cat today in distress and very skinny and malnourished and we were worried for her. Took the cat in to check for a microchip and see if it has an owner. Receptionist gave us a lecture on how we are not supposed to feed outdoor cats (which we don’t anyway, it’s literally this one very malnourished cat we fed because we were worried). She asked us why we would take the cat in and told us we shouldn’t take cats away from their owners… I simply wanted to help an animal in need, was stressed and worried. The last thing I expected was to have the receptionist make me feel like a cat thief. The vet was nice and helpful, but by that point I was already upset by the receptionist. Would not want to go there again.
